Arrived in late only for the owner to take away the key that he left out for us then not answer his phone. Left stranded sleeping on a park bench on valentines day, cheers mate! Unable to contact for a refund. I would give 0 stars if i could. Avoid at all cost he will take your money.

OK, you get what you pay for. $119 a night just 2 minutes walk to King Street, Newtown - GREAT PRICE. There's only one roll of toilet paper and no complimentary soap for your shower or complimentary UHT milk for a cup of tea when you arrive. There are towels, but no hand towel or face washer. BYO spanner in-case your shower head doesn't stay up. BYO eye mask for the blinds that don't shut properly. BYO iron unless you want to damage your clothes. BYO cleaning products if you want to use the stove. BYO pillow if you use more than one.
There's no reception/lobby. Actually, I think I saw one person the entire time I was there. For an extra $30 a night there is parking. And it's excellent and secure. The check-out system isn't practical and I ended up posting my keys back to them when I got home.
The room had been freshly painted and the fumes gave me head-spins.
The elevator scared the crap out of my partner and he was the convinced that the stains on the carpet in the hall way were that of a dead body. Lol
Good points - secure parking, location, quiet, price, excellent shower.

On opening the door to our apartment we were presented with only one double bed when we had booked for a twin bed room & after manageing to contact the manager(simon) he offered to bring a foldup bed to us, to place along side the little kitchenette this bein for my 70yr old mother to sleep on, on further inspection of the "self conatined apartment" we could not find a plug to put in the sink to wash the food that was left dried in the one & only saucepan & the 3 also dirty plates. The glasses also had water left in them & put away, the stove which was absolutely filthy & smelt burnt, But much to our amazement was that the back element did not turn off at all & the only way to fix this problem was to turn the main switch of (A Real Fire Risk) as we were later informed that there had been a fire on the stove previously & that was the horrible burnt smell.I might add no fire blanket or extinguiher either. Not sure how they comply with out one of these items. 3 out of 5 lights had blown bulbs also. When i asked the cleaner the following day if she was going to clean the apartment & replace the dirty bath mat i was informed by her that she was very busy & only cleans appartments 1 a week (unlucky for us ) as it was dirty on arrival. Also a lack of toilet paper no soap or toiletries were supplied. The only real positive feed back of our 5 day stay at this appartment was its location to RPA Hospitial which my mother was attending for surgery & the food outlets. All in all a dirty poor equiped appartment & staff with a unhelpful attitude I could list more problems with this appartment without being to picky but if you manage to read this far i think you would have a clear picture of why you should not stay here,& find another alternative close by on reading other reviews which seem to have all the same experiences with management chooseing to ignore these reviews & problems & not fixing them

Crap. Broken clothes line. Furniture falling apart. For some reason they set up an extra bed in my kitchen and when I arrived there was a load of wet sheets and towels in the washing machine which just sat in the sink for 4 days.

Serviced apartment? Not at all. No service whatsoever. Had to make my own bed.

Whole thing is falling apart. Just do not book here.

Tired, overpriced, no reception staff ! Shower handle did not stay upright. When held by hand - sprayed water on the ceiling and through the down lights. The blinds were all broken - providing no privacy at all. Bed was unclean and the floors dirty. Was offered to go back and stay another night for free.....I wouldn't do that to myself.
Spend a little more and go somewhere worthy of $119.

Serviced apartments my butt.

No housecleaning for the entire 4 days I stayed, didn't even have fresh towels.. no adequate place to hang them so they were kinda wet for ages. No reception or even a hint there is staff. Musky smells e'rywhere. Random price tags in all the drawers, pieces of debris on the floor... INCLUDING AN OPEN SAFETY PIN ON THE FLOOR UPON CHECK IN. Too scared to walk around barefoot after that. Blinds missing 2 panels or the 8. Stoves too grotty to use. Floor mounted fan was COVERED in dust like it was blowing little trails at you.

Also, 4 stars my butt.

Having booked 3 nights accommodation with parking (extra $30 per night) I arrived expecting an easy check in with stress free access to RPA Hospital. My friend had flown to Sydney for cancer treatment and I had driven from the south coast to help and support her. However the manager had not booked the parking and I had nowhere to leave my car. After numerous phone calls he suggested I 'park on the street and feed the meter'. Not really an option. He was rude, arrogant, unhelpful and really did not care at all that the mess I found myself in was his fault. Not knowing Sydney very well I decided to stay at a motel my family had used before, The Abcot Inn at Sylvania. Even though it was an hours peak time drive to the Hospital each day the staff there were wonderful. We had a pleasant stay and in future would rather drive in and out than give money to a company who employs staff like I encountered at Atelier.

My company booked the room for me. I couldn't get there before 5pm so the manager left the key in a mail box. No advice for parking so I sneakily parked underneath. The elevator bangs and moves when you step in, a bit unsettling. The halls have a strange smell. When I got into my room it seemed pleasant enough, a double bed and a single with trundle, tv, pedestal fan, kitchenette and washing machine. No aircon. The balcony door was left open to air the room, and by balcony I mean standing room only, there was literally one chair at the end of the balcony which I wouldn't actually sit on because I'd have more sitting room on a toilet. Speaking of the toilet, it was leaking with a drip tray underneath, and was turned off when I arrived. The was water all over the bathroom/laundry floor which has rot the bottom of the cupboard. I didn't end up staying for the week like my company paid for, I drove to my parents house and stayed there instead.

What ever they paid for the room, they wasted their money.

Recently stayed in what was supposed to be a double bed and single bed apartment (no sign of a single bed) No staff on hand, STENCH FROM GARBAGE room which is next to the lifts and reception wafted through every floor and all the way up to the fourth floor, absolutely sickening, no air conditioning. useless fan. sheets not fresh. For anyone considering staying.....DON'T..a park bench has much more appeal than this place

You should not stay here. There is no air in the room at all and you can not open the door as it is on a main road and the noise is deafening. No air con or air vents.
One lowly portable fan.
The rating on Expedia is obviously rigged as most of the remarks are negative.
We felt unsafe as there was garbage all over the street, old lounges etc a hidden entrance where you have to wait for the key to be brought to you. There were several people carrying in cartons of beer while we waited.
There were things that were broken or in need of repair.
I would strongly advise you not to stay here.
