The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.

Let's get straight to the point, this low score is based purely on the level of noise and the lack of an elevator which is a problem for moving luggage and for mobility issues. I can easily see guests giving 5 stars as its location is fabulous for sightseeing and the staff are

What a great find! We came for drinks on a really hot day as we were walking up to the bridge. My husband drinks Guinness so was pleased to come across this bar and even more so when he got an actual pint instead of a schooner! The staff were busy but very attentive and

We didn’t stay at the hotel but while walking down the street found this fabulous Irish bar. Live Irish music was playing and beer was flowing. The food were wonderful! Staff and fellow travelers were very friendly. Not the traditional tourist bad. Loved it!

Hello! We have just stayed here for a night, it was the worst night sleep ever!! Please read my review before you book!!! **DONT NOT SLEEP HERE** ABSOLUTE ROBBERY!! $300 for that, WOW, the owner is living the dream! A dirty cheap hotel turned nightclub, late extremely loud music that doesn't stop till 1am! The hotel is extremely dirty, hotel staff were rude and when we went to complain about the heavy loud music, they refused anything point blank! Such a beautiful place, there are better hotels within a 2 metre distance of this one! TAKE MY WORD, IF YOU WANT A AVERAGE/NICE HOTEL, GO AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE TO THIS PLACE!!!
