The front desk lady Sarah was exceptionally helpful, patient and friendly. As we were arriving to Sydney an hour earlier from the standard check in time, she managed to arrange a room ready for us upon our arrival. As we arrived, as my 6 year old son went to collect the key from

Hotel's Favourite
I’ve stayed in several hotels in Sydney, but Vulcan Hotel was the best. It has a beautiful interior, spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (not included in the price, not cheap but top quality and in a pleasant laid back atmosphere). If you want to have breakfast out, the

Lovely little hotel! Very clean and comfortable and quite affordable! Felt like home! The staff were very friendly, and accommodating! Not far from anything, close to powerhouse Museum, Ian Thorpe pool and not far from stroll from Darling Harbour! Will be back!

How to get to Vulcan Hotel from the airport
Hi Niels, Apologies for the late reply. To get to the Hotel from the Airport you have 3 options. You can either catch a shuttle bus which is located at the domestic terminal and cost between $15 and $20. They drop you off out front. The train is an alternative, takes only 7 to 11mins and cost you $17. You need to get off at Central Station which is about a 10min walk from the Hotel. The third option would be a taxi which takes around 20mins and cost between $35 and $45. Please let me know if you have further questions. Kind Regards, Christine - Hotel Manager
