Not bad, but not a great standard. If you're used to Rydges and prefer the chain, there are better ones within 20 minutes by public transport. There are also a couple of serviced apartments nearby that are better for families. I usually like Rydges but won't rush back here.

We use this motel on our Sydney visits due to location and facilities around it.Staff are friendly helpful and efficient. Rooms are well sized and cleaned. Rooms are also tired and need a good in depth clean. Bus outside door, Iro cafe for breakfast (just up the road) and the Camperdown pub for a cold beer and dinner.

This is an old hotel, and starting to look pretty tired. However, the rooms are large and light, the staff are great, and of course the beds are legendary. The parking is very useful for people coming to Sydney for RPA appointments or scans, too.

Location is the only reason we would stay here again. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is quite tired and dated. We could easily hear the person in the next room snoring!!!...the bathroom could've been cleaner. Luckily the king bed was comfy.

We stayed at Rydges Camperdown for 'reasonable priced' accommodation for my husband's recent hospital visit. The original quote for 7 nights was acceptable, but when I booked for a further 3 nights the price rose considerably - 50% higher than for the same nights the previous week! All costs attracted fees when paid by credit card. The location is great,...

Many of the adverse comments on this hotel are based on fact. Yes, it is a tired hotel that I think I remember as an original Travelodge. It was four stars in its heyday and the basic infrastructure reflects a degree of quality. It's been reasonably maintained and everything still works. Rydges have added their signature beds, which are excellent...

The staff are just plan nice, not robots going through the motions, any little problem is fixed promptly and with a smile. The restaurant serves good meals from breakfast through...

We expect more from a Rydges hotel. We were shocked. The hotel is in DESPERATE need of refurbishing and should not be made available until it is! Chair upholstery that was terribly stained - UNACCEPTABLE; the bathroom smelled like a urinal; the shower dripped; the mattress needs replacing; old awful furniture - honestly it was like being in a dodgy...

Only stayed for one night for a local event and thought the room was large and very clean though dated with old brown furniture and veneer peeling off the bathroom door.
