I came to blue parrot in February after only being in Australia for 4 days. I immediately felt welcome and within 2 hours I was at the beach with people I had just met. The hostel has a great vibe and is perfect for solo backpackers. I travelled throughout Australia but always came back to Blue Parrot as it felt... More

Located in King's Cross, less than five minutes from the train station, Blue Parrot is in a perfect location for seeing Sydney. The rooms are simple, but comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the hostel provides all the services you may need for your stay. The fridge might get a bit full if there's a lot of people around, and... More

In one of the best neighbourhoods to stay when you get to Sydney for the first time. It's a very nice and clean hostel, very friendly staff. Close to King's Cross station, buses nearby, supermarkets. Walking distance to Botanic Gardens, CBD and Opera House. I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dorm and it was perfect. Three shared bathrooms, always clean.... More

Hello Paloma, Thank you for your lovely review and for recommending us! Though most people prefer this dorm room because it faces the lovely garden and trees, we have other 6 bed dorms available so if you were not happy it wouldn't have been a problem to change you into a different room. We are happy to help if you... More

The hostel is small but nice. Very clean. The staff is kind and friendly. We have a great time there! It is located in a pretty district (Potts Point) and is not far from Kings Cross' train station. You can reach the centre of Sydney by walking (20 mins). Close to supermarkets.

I highly recommend this hostel to solo budget backpackers who want to stay right at the center of Sydney and especially women (I felt safe here.) The rooms are clean and that includes fresh sheets and blanket. You'd be welcomed by a friendly staff upon arrival and they are also very much accommodating with your queries . It is easy... More

The blue parrot is great, it's so welcoming and friendly that you'll never want to leave. It's clean and tidy, new beds, great location, private bathrooms (no cubicles or multiple toilets!), kitchen and tv room. It's close to the train or a short walk to the centre of Sydney. Romsie and Jeff are great too. They're always happy to help!

It's the best Hostel I had on my Australia trip 👍🏼 Blue Parrots is like a family style with a very nice staff! Good sleeping in the beds, a kitchen with all what you need, the TV room and the outdoor area was perfect for me. This hostel is very clean.
