This hotel is really third rate. They choose to almost ignore guest needs in the quest to charge for everything. Morning coffee, available as a courtesy everywhere is met with a push to room service. The gym is a tiny space with no weights. Our room was big but strangely without places to store things. Minimum in towels and toiletries....

Large spacious rooms, located just a few minutes from Sydney Harbour Bridge. Also a short walk to the nearest train station. Bathrooms could use a little updating to match the aesthetic of the rest of the property, but otherwise fantastic.

Brilliant hotel. Couldn't be faulted. In centre of CBD, 15 minute walk to the harbour bridge, opera house and darling harbour. Great rooms, great breakfast. Check in was a breeze, good free wifi. Would recommend and return.

This is a great hotel right in the city. Room was beautiful, restaurant not bad, fitness centre about 5/10 but that is usual in these hotels. One tip is to be careful which room you get, look out for back left corner as they literally look into an office building, like a couple of metres away as per photo. You...

The overall property was of a high quality, I did however have issue with my Iron for which I requested a replacement - while the reception indicated they would resolve it immediately - the request was ignored - no replacement was received.

This is a very comfortable and luxurious hotel. The only issue is that the wifi is very poor, which made it difficult to work from the hotel. While there is a fitness center onsite, there are no free weights and it's very small. I recommend that they partner with the local Anytime Fitness to offer discounted day passes as $20/day...

This is a large hotel in the centre of the city which had all the usual amenities expected of such an establishment. The room was pleasant enough for our four day stay. We noted that food was expensive in the hotel so we only had one dinner there which was very good. The rest of the time we brought breakfast in...

From the minute I arrived until I left, every staff member was brilliant to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. And OH MY GOD, the bed and pillows were the best I have ever slept on in any hotel ever!!!!!

My parents and husband and I had a very comfortable stay at the Amora Jamison Hotel. My parents had stayed here before, and we booked the hotel due to its close proximity to the Port of Sydney. The bed was the most comfortable that I had ever slept on. I will have to find out the make and manufacturer -...

The Zamora is in a great central CBD location close to Marin place, Circular Quay, Castlereigh st , not far to The Rocks. The room was spacious and the bed soft but strange upholstered chairs that looked like they were upholstered in some imitation velvet. Good sized bathroom with a full bath and great water pressure in the shower, something...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
