Heard a couple of good reviews for this place but was very disappointed. The hostel looks so badly run down and has no air conditioning which isn't always needed in hostels but this hostel really needs it! The room was so hot all the time!...More

Staff weren't the most friendly but that's fine, common area with tv is very cramped and in order to get to my room I had to walk through is amongst all the people and walk in front of the tv which was a little awkward....More

Hi Wendy, The building has been Eva's Backpackers since the 1980's. Before it was a backpackers it was a club with apartments/ rooms upstairs. The club had many names, the most famous being The Venus Room when it was owned... More
