A catch up with work colleagues involved consuming some great home brews. The Old admiral and the 3 sheets were the favs. Stayed for dinner and enjoy some good pub grub. Pies and pees was a winner for the meals but there is lots of choice fro mthe bar. Be prepared to stand for a while waiting for a table...

Had a great time here close in to downtown but without the hustle Claims to be the oldest continuous operating hotel in Australia. Rooms are good. Pub food is great and has some of the best brews I've tasted

Found it by accident looking for a midweek beer and feed and was blown away by the incredible beer selection (mostly on tap) and hearty meals with dinner specials for $9 which explained why the place had a good crowd and vibe for a Monday. Will be back.

We usually choose a modern hotel in city centre but family who lived in Sydney booked us in here with themselves, we would have stayed in one of the multinational chains and our stay would have been lesser for it. Nice rooms in a great part of the city. We had the corner room which was just great.

The beers are superb if somewhat over chilled, this is the usual practice in Australia but chilling less would enhance the flavours. (My opinion only!) Their pork pies are legendary, the steak pie with mash and mushy peas not nearly as good. Great curry but let down by poor quality, stale rice. Us westerners never understand rice, it must be...

We stayed for three nights earlier this month. The room was lovely and very comfortable, breakfast was good and the hotel is really well located, a short walk from Circular Quay for all transport and the Harbour. The Bar is also good serving nice food and a great range of beer brewed on the premises. When we left I realised...

Wonderful selection of beers, fresh on tap. Friendly and fast service even when they are busy. Definitely one to visit to soak in atmosphere, particularly on the outside seats on a sunny day. And the pork pies are pretty good.

We spent a week there, can't recommend this highly enough. The Lord Nelson is in The Rocks, the oldest part of Sydney. It's a great location, very close to the Bridge, easy walk to the Opera House and Central Business District. The hotel is upstairs from the pub, no elevator, but worth the trek up a few flights of stairs...

An iconic Sydney pub with craft beers and a lovely atmosphere, the Lord Nelson has everything you could want in The Rocks and Millers Point. A great spot to charge your batteries if you're a tourist and it is just like coming home if you're a local.
