We stayed in a family room, which included a double bed, bunk bed, single bed and TV. The room was clean amd exactly what we expected. It was close to the toilets which was helpful as we had children travelling with us, but could be noisy. The youth hostel is large, but has everything and more that you would expect...

I switched to this hostel and I am very glad I did. Starting off, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and big and clean and mattresses are decently comfy. The location is great since it is quite csntal to everything. Close to Darling Harbour and the central train station. The cafe there is...

We stayed here for 3 nights while bouncing from hostel to hostel in the lead up to Xmas. The location is great as your right across from central station and tonnes of bus routes too and I do feel this is what your paying for. We stayed in a 4 bed mixed room which was bigger than I was expecting...

This is a very large efficiently run hostel immediately across the street from Central station. Full range of facilities including a 24 hour kitchen and frequent scheduled activities and a large cinema. The rooftop terrace is nice but the pool is tiny. The rooms are clean and fairly well maintained. My reading light did not work and east facing room...

The Sydney central YHA is convienently located and in just 5 minutes walk from central station and bus terminal, which makes it really easy to get to when travelling from the airport. Most of the reception staff were really friendly, helpful and polite. It is a large hostel with a large communal kitchen and dining area, laundry facilities, a small...

I booked 7 nights at the YHA central for my recent trip to Sydney. The main selling point was that it was right next to the central train station. I shared a 6 bed dorm on the 8th (top floor) & with the exception of 1 night it was relatively quiet. The staff were very helpful & there is plenty...

I didn't have a bad experience staying here but I do think the place is overpriced with not a lot to show for it. The 'swimming' pool is more of a paddling pool, the roof terrace does have nice views over Sydney and no complaints about the Sauna but the rooms are very average, most of them very dark and...

Staff r bit frustrated because of public and questions by public. The website isn't much helpful as there are two private room options and they should have mentioned the cheaper private room has no own bathroom attached. Also no free wifi in room. And this is probably third time I stayed in this hotel because of the location right next...

If going to the airport early morning it's a great place to stay. Just an easy 5 minute walk. Or you want to catch the city circle train......perfect! We seniors had a private room with shared bath and it was all good. Rooms spacious enough and the bathroom also spacious and clean. It was certainly adequate for us and offered...

My first ever experience of a hostel & I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a private room with private ensure as I didn't want to share lol, it was basic but clean. Had to pay for wifi in room but it was very good. Staff very friendly. They organised trips and fun free things...
