The Metro is perfectly located opposite Sydney's Capitol theatre and right near Central station. Convenient and easy to get to by public transport. Car parking is not available anywhere near this hotel. Matter of fact none is available anywhere in Sydney these days. You can find a 4 hour ticketed spot but don't expect to keep it without paying a...

Fire Alarm - No Evacuation - No Announcements for up to 30 mins after alarm. Hotel was fine, only ate breakfast, too many other options nearby, staff helpful and friendly. Didn't feel safe after the alarm. Would hesitate before staying again.

The location of the hotel is excellent: the Central Station, Hyde Park, China Town, Sydney Tower Eye and many view spots are just in walking distance. The room is quiet and clean. The staff are helpful and polite.

Decor and fixtures were a little dated, but hotel was in excellent location, had excellent service, and great amenities. Super comfy beds and decent sized rooms. Traveled for business and stayed one night.

Our room was a triple share room, it was neat and tidy, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, reasonable priced. Location was excellent for us as it was just across from the theatre, close walk to Central Train Station.

Good location and close to Hay Market and lots of great restaurants near by. World Square shopping centre is a short walk. Breakfast at $23.00 is good value but there was no Vegemite. I noticed a group asked for some fried eggs and it didn't seem to be a problem. The vegetable juicer was a great idea. I would come...

Good location. Stayed for 3 nights. Located at corner of Pitt street and Campbell street. Many Asian food restaurants located within walking distance. Nearest train stations are Central and Museum stations. Short walk to Paddy's market. Easy for airport shuttle drop-off and pick-up. The basin is a bit too small but otherwise, is fine as out most of the time...

Had been booked into this place and thought according to the rates it shall be fine. It is not. Rooms are small and smelly, corridors feeling smelly and humid, too. Mattresses worn out, bed linen is not even covering the blanket so you wake up in the morning covered with the inlay only, where likely hundreds of people before sweated...

Booked this hotel as it was close to the Capitol Theatre and easy access from Central Station as I was travelling with my 90 year old mother. Exiting the lift, the hallway to our room had a strong mouldy/musty/damp smell which was quite unpleasant and very noticeable each time we got out of the lift. The pillows were quite flat...
