Nice hotel, friendly staff and good rooms. However, the hotel is not a great area and parking was difficult to sort out. The front street is noisy at night and sleeping was difficult. Ask for a room that is not at the front of the hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel. Smells excellent when you just walk into the lobby. We were quite happy with the King room we stayed. Big room with very clean bathroom. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Recently refurbished, room was clean comfortable and stylish. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Close to Chinatown and Darling Harbour. Free WiFi, parking nearby but easy to get to via a short work to Central railway station. Would use again and recommend

Clean hotel, friendly staff, and comfortable bed. Advantage: Location - 7-11 round the corner, 8 min walk to Darling Harbour, and 12-15 min walk to Hyde Downside: Very poor sound insulation - noise from the street can be heard quite clearly, and disrupted sleep even @ 4am

Comfortable and stylish. You have to walk few minutes from Central but staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location to everything including Darling Harbor and Chinese town. I would like to stay again.

This hotel was a killer find. I travel to Sydney a lot and have stayed in many, many hotels but I have now found my go-to. The hotel is small, welcoming, modern and in a great location close to train stations and so many eating options within metres. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was recently renovated and...

Stayed a Saturday night at the Ultimo Hotel when celebrating a friends birthday. The location of the Hotel is very close to China town, Darling Harbour is 10 or so minutes walk away, Central Station around five minutes and Capitol Theatre is close by. The hotel itself has had a modern minimalist renovation, and now focuses on astrology, giving each...

Hi Warrens_of_Conder, thank you for taking the time to provide me with detailed feedback of your stay. I'm sorry for the delays on check in and the confusion with the credit card pre-authoristaion. We prefer to advise our guests of the authorisation we place on their cards unlike some hotels that don't do this. I will address the carpark issue...

Right in the middle of Chinatown means you won't go hungry here. I had a small room but plenty of space for me. The staff were delightful and there is a barista on standby in the foyer for your morning coffee. Woolworths is on the corner for your food and wine requirements and the market opposite for fruit. The only...

Great location if you are walking, Recently refurbished excellent cleanliness. Staff are very friendly and attentive, Wifi free but a bit of an issue to maintain signal. Parking not available on site, so if you do need to park get clearer instructions from staff than they gave me, which was Wilsons just around the corner, as they validate and reduce...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
