We stayed at the Travel Let's in Wentworth Age, Sydney for the first 3 nights in Australia. We booked a family room which was basic but comfortable. The day we checked out we tried the breakfast which was excellent.

We booked well ahead of travel dates so secured a great price. The reception and housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful and quick to provide any extras we needed. Best location for all attractions and shops and also for trains, with Museum station just up the road. We had a triple room which was spacious and our stay there was...

Basically a very good stay. If there was a negative it did take all day to get the room tidied. Eventually this was completed around 4:30pm. There were no hand towls and the bath towls were "tired" - TLH should treat itself to some new ones.

Check in was a very easy affair and I was assigned a room with a view of Wentworth Avenue. On check in, I asked if the WiFi was chargeable as said on the reservation to which I was informed that I had "free WiFi". It turned out to be a 100MB allowance per day (close to nothing if you're on...

Having decided to visit Sydney for a few days we selected the Travelodge, Sydney for it's central location. It is only a few minutes walk to Museum station which is on the city loop so easy to access anywhere in Sydney. The hotel is also walking distance to Hyde Park and the Sydney Tower as well as the museum and...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and, at $120 a night, the rooms were excellent value for money. The hotel is located close to Central Station and Hyde Park but is a long walk from Circular Quay. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Hotel was good value with pleasant staff and clean rooms. I would recommend the hotel to anyone not requiring 5 star amenities but with clean comfortable rooms. Did not have breakfast or meals so cannot comment, but as with all hotels, these are expensive compared to good delis in the neighbourhood.

The bedding had a stain on it and we could not open the window for fresh air. On arrival there is very limited space to park and the parking that is available when checking in is a payable meter space on the narrow road, plus the long stay car park is not on the same street making it difficult to...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
