Westin delivers reliable comfort, we had two double beds on the 30th floor with great views over city and central station building clockwork. This room is fine for travelling with two kids below 10 years. Breakfast is wonderful but rather pricey. Location is very central, you can walk to the ferries in 10 minutes. The explora hop on hop off...

This was our first time in Australia and our future son in law had booked the room to let us relax before going on to Mittagong. We did have "fun" trying to find it though! The physical address is 1 Market Place but the parking address was 159 Pitt street. Somebody needs to make that clear for GPS users! After...

The location is great for city shopping and for a walk down to the harbour/ Circular Quay. Rooms are large and have great skyline views. Bathrooms are beautiful. Afternoon tea in the beautiful lobby is wonderful (but you must reserve). A typical Westin Hotel, not over the top but good service, reliable. A great bet for those who are not...

I stayed at the westin on business buy it would be a great tourist destination too. Not far from Sydney harbour (walking distance) and close to the city centre. Facilities are excellent with a great gym area with some great equipment and the bar / restaurant and breakfast areas are outstanding. I will visit again as this is one of...

I didn't stay here for very long as was booked in by work to attend a one-day conference. Luxurious room, modern bathroom, comfortable bed. Location excellent. I did find it difficult to find the entrance by car as much of Martin Place is pedestrianised. Own android satnav next to useless in this part of Sydney (obviously not the hotel' s...

If you only rated a hotel by the staff the Westin would get 10/10. The room was a bit tired, for instance the armrests on the armchair were well worn and there were marks on the carpet where someone had tried to remove stains. The marble entry area to our room had boot marks on it etc. There was hair...

Great location and terrific room. We did not have a room with a view, but it was huge and very comfortable. We did not pay up for the buffet breakfast, but it was probably a good deal. There is great access to everywhere from the hotel by walk or bus. Food in Sydney is pretty expensive and it would be...

Pros: A nice hotel. Located in the heart of the city, makes it easy to walk to any point of central Sydney. The room was big and really comfortable. The cleanliness was great too. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
