Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for 2 nights in 2 Executive Suites with the family. Both rooms were immaculate and all staff delivered 5-star service. Afternoon tea, evening canapes and drinks served in the Club Lounge on level 28 were of high quality. Club Lounge staff were very accommodating and friendly, yet unintrusive. The hotel offers complimentary Heritage tours of the old GPO Building which is highly recommended for anyone staying in this property. Keep an eye out for the very polished-looking gentleman, Maxwell, who welcomes you on your arrival at the porte cochere - gives you a sense you are royalty! Housekeeping staff were very prompt with their service as well - delivered a roll-out bed and extra pillows we selected from the extensive pillow menu very quickly. My family and I have fallen in love with this hotel - thank you and well done Fullerton Sydney! We will definitely return for our next family celebration!

Fantastic stay at the executive suites. Truly 5 star with everything catered to. The little things like complimentary water and fruit in the room, and a well stocked bathroom really set it apart in today's post COVID world.

Beautiful historic building right in the heart of the CBD. Close to all the shops and great restaurants within a 100m walk. Fantastic service and 5 star facilities, would highly recommend for anyone visiting Sydney.

The Fullerton Sydney is a perfect hotel for couple for sure. My partner and I stayed here in the King deluxe room and it was beautiful, our room looked straight out to the giant clock yet was very quiet, was magical. The bathroom is awesome, especially the large bath. Definitely by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and all the staff were so lovely.

Overall a nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean. Rooms elegantly addressed. Was disappointed that the room was not made up on our second night. On coming back from Royal Randwick at 5pm we were looking forward to relaxing but still had old towels and bed not made up. I would stay there again and highly recommend the hotel but basic things with the room makeup should be easily addressed through process.

My husband has terminal cancer so we try to take him away from the palliative care at home. We had a great time. Staff are friendly and welcoming from when we checked in to the time we left the hotel. I hope my husband is well enough to come back again soon

We stayed three nights in a Heritage Room, which was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and a memory foam pillow was provided. Fresh fruit was delivered to our room as a welcome gesture, that was much appreciated. Room service meals were excellent. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room was serviced each day and fresh towels and linen were provided. We have stayed here many times over the years and keep coming back because it’s an outstanding hotel in a great location, easy to walk to The Botanic Garden, The Rocks, good pubs and restaurants and the shops.

We stayed in a corner suite on Level 19. Great room - large, big bathroom, great views over George St and Martin Place. The room was comfortable, although the pillows were flat and the aircon seemed to go cold in the day, warm at night no matter what temperature setting you pushed (this seems to be an issue in alot of hotels though). Overall the location was fantastic - right on the Light Rail line so it was convenient to hop on for a quick journey to the theatre or Opera House, or walk to Barangaroo.
