We stayed here for 3 nights during a 10-week tour of Australia & New Zealand early 2014. The location of this hotel was ideal as it was a short walk to Darling Harbour, where we caught the ferry to Taronga Zoo, marvelling at Sydney Harbour Bridge & the Opera House. Also nearby was China Town with an array of restaurants.... More

Have stayed here previously and find that the service and standards are improving. We like the location close to Darling Harbor,China Town and the Central City. My adverse comments would be that appears to be some problem with the smoke alarm and that guests appear to be penalized if they go off-surely this is the Hotels problem. Also there was... More

Arrived early and told to wait until the agreed check-in time of 2pm, not an issue but was given a very hot and humid room that did not cool down. Spoke with the front desk who found me another room that had fully functioning air con. It was a two room apartment and the bed was medium firmness (not too... More

I booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for his birthday. The room we got was clean, better looking than what i originally thought. We were only there for one night, which isn't much time to judge everything they offer, that's why i rated it 3. I would definitely stay again because location is great and it was relatively... Ok this is my first ever review. I'm not one to take the time to leave a review, but our stay at the seasons hotel was soooo bad I couldn't not. The first thing we noticed as we stepped out of our lift was the smell. The entire hotel smells of a stale cooking smell, which followed on into our... More

After booking what I thought was a 4 star hotel, as that is what they label themselves, I was very disappointed. Location is central and thankfully we didn't need to spend much time in the room. What are the regulations around pillows in hotels? These were the worst! They were thin & hard. I pulled them out of the pillow... More

Hands down the worse experience I have ever had at a hotel in my life. upon arrival and my attempt to check in I was told they wouldn't accept my girlfriends ID (we were told this wouldn't be a problem by the company we booked with), I offered to use my ID (A valid Aust Passport) and use her credit... Stayed at this hotel after purchasing scoopon voucher which stating one of Darlung Harbours finest hotel including that it was a 4 1/2 star accommodation leading us to believe we were getting a great deal. Sadly, this was not the case. From entry into the foyer we immediately recognised that the hotel was not depicted truthfully. The Hotel is located... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
