This ''hotel'' is rated as a 4 star on their website. It's at best a 2 star. From the moment I saw the hotel I was utterly amazed. This building is in much need for some tlc, it is very dated and worn. The elevator was filthy and smelled really bad. Rooms were filthy, half painted patches on walls, rust...

Very tired and dated hotel. Not boutique as mentioned in the hotel description. Dodgy patch up jobs of holes in the walls in the bedroom. Cigarette burns in the curtains. Unclean bathtub that still had a cake of used soap in the bottom of it and carpet that was filthy & had waves in it. Went to make a cup...

This hotel is in a great location on the edge of China town and Darling Harbour. It is an apartment hotel with cooking facilities but a strong smell of cooking permeating the corridors. No free wifi. We were originally given a room which was very small and a bathroom that showed signs of considerable water damage. When we complained we...

I imagine this hotel may have once been quite lovely. Unfortunately now it is in dire need of redecoration and some TLC, it is beginning to fall apart. If we had paid the full $400 tariff for one nights stay we would have been quite disappointed, but as we managed to find ourselves a $200 deal we weren't too offended,...

Studio apartment with very comfortable queen bed, dining table and chairs, and a lounge chair. Kitchenette with hot plates, microwave, dish washer, refrigerator. Very good air conditioning. Shower over bath and a good range of toiletries provided. Access to gymnasium and pool on top floor of adjacent apartment block. Handy to Central station, Paddy's Market and Chinatown. Some fittings are...

We have stayed there several times for our wedding anniversaries in January. Staff are always polite and helpful. Ease of access to Darling Harbour, Chinatown eateries close by, and public transport, favourable pricing, and spacious rooms (plural!). We'll be back!

Hotel clean but unfortunately very tired. Nothing a good coat of paint wouldnt fix, and perhaps new flooring coverings. However in saying this the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel itself close to everything especially Darling Harbour and the fringe of China Town.

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
