We stayed here for a couple of nights after a cruise. Arrived around 9am and managed to store luggage until our room was ready which was much appreciated. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Up to the usual Metro standards. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Not a huge choice for breakfast but it was sufficient. The location is...

I booked this hotel through my credit card points. While the room was small, it at least had a window that faced out onto another building, but also had abutting rooms view into my room, which was slightly awkward. The other thing to note is that there is a TON of construction going on around Sydney, especially next to/near this...

i am not wanting to put in a review. i have explained my situation that occurred and overall my stay in Sydney was great. The Hotel was close and in walking distance to the Rocks, Opera House and Darling Harbour. Transport was close - Musuem Station was a short walk from Hotel and easy to use.

Metro On Pitt was booked through an online booking site and was a good choice; my only complaint is that I was told we had a "Deluxe Double Double" room, and we were given a "Compact" 1-bed room. Convenient location in the CBD, between Chinatown and the Circular Quay (but admittedly, closer to the fringes of the not so nice...

Over all the hotel is very good, and in a good location, and the staff were friendly. although the room is a bit small and no drinks for personal bar, such as water, and the breakfast was standard. Nevertheless, i like this hotel due to its locations and its not really bad at all considering the price for the room.

Stayed in the Metro prior to embarking on a cruise. Room was spacious and very clean with all the usual amenities - tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom supplies etc. Was very surprised at how quiet it was being in the heart of the city and just a short walk to Darling Harbour. Even being at the front of the...

Our stay was just great. The staff at reception were so helpful. Our room was so clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel was in a great location for us and so close to all public transport. I will most definitely be recommending Metro Hotel on Pitt to family and friends.

Small but adequate room but disappointing as the views were of brick walls. If you stood close to the window and looked up it was just possible to see the sky! Quite a walk from the harbour and we didn't discover how we could have travelled by public transport.

Dear U184UNsusanm Thank you for your review. I accept that our Sydney CBD location and envious access to all of Sydneys highlights and not primarily the harbour means our rooms probably won't have too much of what one might describe as an expansive view. We trust however that the prime location more than makes up for it with the added...

My wife and I stayed for 1 week in the metro hotel. The location is central and walking distance to lots of Sydney's attractions . Our room was clean modern and on the top floor at the front . I expected road noise being in the city centre but what I didn't expect was a huge building sight opposite ....

Dear Brian R Thank you for your review. Sydney is definitely going through one of the biggest building expansions in history and with our CBD location we are right amongst it. Unfortunately we are unable to tell when and how the construction might occur as we receive no notice. That being said, as you mention it is a day time...

A clean and convenient place to stay in the CBD. Close to all public transport. Found the air-conditioning rather noisy though and had to sleep without air-con. King bed was comfortable and service provided by staff at desk was friendly and helpful. Fix the air-con and I will stay again.

Dear christopheraU5075LV Thank you for the lovely review. My apologies for the air conditioning. The change in the weather has them working overtime. We have already looked that the room you stayed in and are working throughout the hotel to ensure this doesn't happen again. cheers Simon Wanstall Property Manager
