Having previously stayed here I was aware of the great position as well as what appears to be problems with the computer booking program. I called ahead to ensure my request of a twin room was able to be fulfilled, so was annoyed to be allocated a single bed room. The change was handled quickly by staff but it shouldn't...

The Park Regis is in a good location, just a leisurely 30 minute walk to the Opera House through beautiful Hyde Park. We booked our parking, prior to our visit, with Wilson Parking only five minutes from The Park Regis.

Convenient location with helpful staff and clean bathrooms. What more can we say.recommend for budget concious travellers who desire a central city location close to the subway public transport. Also convenient stores, fast food outlets and theatres close by.

Most things we wanted to do were within walking distance which was great. The rooftop pool was great for down time for kids with fabulous views to enjoy. Room size was fine for a city were space is at a premium and we didn't really spend much time in the room ... would definitely stay here again.

Hot water system stopped working on last night of stay. Cold showers!!! They gave us free breakfast in ccompensation. A little noisy at night with road traffic and loud music from hotels opposite. Close to Town Hall station and plenty of shops nearby.

Great location, needs refurb and a full plumbing overall. Worst hotel shower ever in terms of water pressure. Price needs to be consistent with quality. I won't be returning! Close to woollies, bottle shops, bars and food outlets. Walking distance to Westfields and sky tower.

Very small ensuite, the basin is right in front of the toilet so can't sit on the toilet properly. The shower curtain was gross, Air con doesnt work so the room was very hot and stuffy. Being a hot night the only way my daughter and I vould cool down was to sleep with a cold wet facewasher on our...

Took my 13yo daughter for the Maddie and Mackenzie Zeigler Australian tour at Townhall. It was great to be so close. Parking cost were to expensive for a guest. Got a great dealon the room though. The room was good. A little nousy with night road works. Caught the train to Townhall station and a short walk around the corner....

Excellent CBD location, and excellent for the tourist who doesn't mean to spend time in the room. The premises don't fit the 21st century look of the Sydney CBD. The internet was particularly terrible, as it's offered on a day by day basis (new login each day, which the receptionists do not offer unless asked for), and limited to free...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
