Hotel's Favourite
This is our first visit to Sydney and Australia and what a fabulous hotel this is - all the staff are so helpful and friendly. We had an Executive Room overlooking the Chinese Garden, which was lovely. The location was perfect for us and very convenient for everywhere! We stayed for 7 nights and it really felt like home each time we came back to our room and it really was a great start to our holiday! Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel.

Checked in after our cruise and Paul was super helpful. I wanted a room away from the busy intersection and Paul sorted it quickly for me - that’s what excellent service looks like. The room is lovely, super clean with all the amenities we could want. The area is great for exploring all that Sydney offers and there are numerous eating places close by ranging from simple fast street food to high end restaurants and did I mention the Pump House? craft beer and lovely wine with helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend the Novotel Darling Square.

This stay was post cruise, for 2 nights. Fantastic hotel, really friendly staff, can’t do enough for you. Great Reception staff, friendly Lounge Bar staff, friendly Breakfast Buffet staff. Located right in the middle of Chinatown, surrounded by masses of restaurants and take-outs. Close to Market City (Paddy’s Market) which is a brilliant 3 floor market building. Also close to Darling Harbour.

I enjoyed my stay here because the staff were eager to help and my room on the top floor was very comfortable with a great shower. It was nice to enjoy my welcome drinks at the Pumphouse Bar next door as well. A good arrangement. Will certainly repeat the experience someday.

All the things you’d expect from a Novotel plus a fantastic location with easy parking. Great service from everyone at the hotel along with so many things to do in and around Darling Square. Most things are at your doorstep. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here in August 2022 for the Sydney International Boatshow. Really nice accommodation with generous sized rooms which are well appointed. There is a bar next door, I think it’s called the pump house? Which was very good. Location is everything you want when staying in Darling harbour. Will be back in July 2023 for my next stay which is already booked. See you next month.

The way I was 'welcomed' when checking in turned out be representative for the entire experience. Even before checking my reservation I was told my room was not ready. No indication of time or location of breakfast and no directions to the elevator. I did not feel welcome at all. Room was not very clean and some of the fluff on the floor was there during for my entire stay of 4 days. WiFi connection dropped a few times meaning i lost connection to videoconference I was in. Although I had pre-paid breakfast I opted in the end to have my brekky elsewhere. All in all not the best of experiences.

Good location for the tram. Also walkable to lots of restaurants. Rooms are fine, comfortable. Not too big a hotel, as some others seemed huge. Breakfast was good although a bit hectic/crowded. Recommended

Good location, friendly and helpful front desk and awesome breakfast. Wharf, Corcular Wuay are about a kilometer away but the china market and market city are right there. Highly recommended.we were given coupons for drinks at the Pump House. There is so much to do right in the neighbourhood.
