Pictures represent what you get for your dollar. Cleanliness less than ideal. Things like light shades, skirting boards etc haven't seen a dust in ages, and the hairy corners in the bathroom are definitely off putting. Sofa bed uncomfotable, only suitable for young kids. At the time of our stay, staff were great and room had a deal with local attractions and opal card credit which made it a good choice for location and cost. Probably wouldn't stay again as the kids are older now and the sofa bed just wouldn't cut it in terms of a good nights sleep.

The hotel is very well priced and in a great location. We stayed after a cruise and we were able to do all our washing before getting home which made it much more relaxing when we got home.
There is no doubt the rooms are not 5 star; but they don't claim to be nor was that what I was expecting.
The road noise is also very noticeable so if you're a light sleeper I'd select another location (especially for a Saturday night).
However, all in all, the hotel was perfect for our stay.

The Metro is in a great location with views overlooking Darling Harbour, but the rooms are in need of a makeover/upgrade. The FOXTEL channels are limited, with any channel worth watching requiring a subscription upgrade. No WiFi that I was made aware of.

Unfortunately we only stayed here one night instead of two. The room was extremely noisy (Friday night) and made for a terrible nights sleep. We checked out a day early. It is in a great location and the room was very clean but double glazed windows would be of a huge benefit as the hotel is on a major intersection with another major road nearby.

Our lower floor rooms Do have double glazing, and our owners are looking are doing this for our higher floor rooms, though we dont normally recieve issues from the highter floors. We do appoligies for any inconvince that was had. We do hope that you can return soon to experience the double glazed two story windows with a great view of Darli ng Harbour.

The hotel was super close to be able to walk around and find things to do. Parking was only 100m up the road. Good for the price the only fault was that twice out of our three night stay linen was either dirty or stained. One towel had black stuff on it and other towels and bedding were not white but a yellow colour in patches. Linen needs to be cleaned properly and if stained replace it. You don't want guests wondering if the bed they are sleeping in or the towels they are using have been cleaned properly or not.

I really appreciated the location - a few blocks from Town Hall, so it's easy to go anywhere if you don't mind a short walk - and taxi's can be hailed from just around the corner. The apartment on level 6 had huge windows with awesome views of Darling Harbour, looking directly across the water to the Maritime Museum. The staff were really helpful with directions, local knowledge, and a much needed umbrella! I'll be back.

Poor service, tired quality of room and outdated hotel policies. I’ve stayed at nicer accommodation for less. Location is great being close to everything however the rooms just feel tired and unkept with faulty taps and tired uncomfortable furniture.

The staff were friendly and the location is great, but the building itself left a lot to be desired. We realised when booking it that it wasn't going to be 5 star but we expected functional for our family. The stairs and loft in the appartments is not baby or toddler friendly. The kitchen was old and barely working. The stove surged heat and if you cook anything over medium heat it will smoke out the apartment. Which should be solved by the range hood, but it blows directly back into the kitchen instead of to the outside. Our fridge leaked for some reason, as well. The shower has been fitted with an extreme water saving head, which means it takes 10 mins just to wash out shampoo. There were plusses, though. The washing machine and dryer worked well. It is always nice to go home from a trip with all clean clothes. The view is nice enough, though what they refer to as a balcony could only be a servise ledge for the air-conditioner, with a railing. We did only spend evenings in the apartment so it was tolerable for the time, but if we had have stayed for more than 4 nights, we would have wished for different accommodation.

The location was great - although the steps were an issue to drag two bags up to the lobby. Room serviced daily and room was very clean however a couple loose tiles on the kitchen floor need gluing down. The instructions for the TV were not clear however reception was quick to come to the room and assist. Staff were attentive and very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic time away at the Metro apartments. Location is excellent, very accessible to restaurants, pubs, darling harbour and great shopping all within walking distance. Codie at the Metro apartments went out of his way to make our stay stress free and relaxing, always so helpful and friendly, we even decided to spend an extra day! Would recommend to friends and family.

Yes each of the Serviced Apartments have a washing machine and a clothes dryer in them.
The closest railway station is Wynyard Station. Its 800 meters from the Apartments.
We are on the corner of King and Sussex Street.
As far as I am aware, they all do, but it is an extremely small balcony
