The service was slow and impersonal. The food (breakfast) was average and it took ages for coffee to arrive even though the restaurant was quiet early in the morning. The room was comfortable enough but I did end up wishing that I had chosen the Hilton which is just around the corner - it Hilton offering is better for a...

This was my first time staying at the Swissotel and it did not disappoint! Stayed overnight as I was seeing a comedy show at the State Theatre which was conveniently located across the road. That was one of the great things about this hotel, it's location, right in the heart of the city within walking distance of shops and restaurants....

I enjoyed a lovely two-night stay at the Swissotel, I wish I could have stayed longer. I got a great rate via Booking.com for an executive room, and it was well worth the expense. Clean, comfortable, modern, freshly renovated room equipped with everything you could want. My room was located on the top (25th) floor looking out over the Queen...

Location is good with walking easy to many sites. We stayed here for four nights. I originally booked three nights with booking.com for a superior king room on upper floors mentioning it was our 40th anniversary. We received a great rate. We did need to add another earlier night. Well they charge us a much higher rate but gave us...

My two daughters and I stayed at the Swissotel as it was recommended to us. It didn't disappoint. The lobby staff were sensational! They couldn't have been more friendly, attentive and helpful. Well done crew!! We enjoyed being welcomed on arrival and each return and helped when needing directions or a cab. The hotel itself is well situated. The decor...

We are Sydneysiders who have got a bit precious about travelling home to the suburbs after a late night out, and are gradually working our way through the offerings on Wotif or similar websites. Swissotel was the latest experiment, and we found it to be very comfortable and convenient - perhaps more so for the State Theatre, which is right...

We were two Mums staying here with our teenage daughters. We booked this hotel on recommendations. Excellent choice. Right in the heart of retail, a shoppers paradise. The hotel is right on top of Myer along Grorge St. Very central location. Newly refurbished. Rooms are new, big and quiet. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
