The room was clean and nice , and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good but I suggest they should also serve at least one or two different viands everyday. What is best for this hotel is the location. Best for shopping and it's near to some tourist attraction

The Swissotel is right in the CBD of Sydney. You are a less than a hundred metres from Myer's, David Jones and The Strand, so if it's city shopping you want to do, this is the place to stay. But there are many more aspects to this hotel that I liked. The room we stayed in (12th floor) was a...

We spent 3 nights over the weekend at this hotel on 17th Floor and couldn't fault it. So centrally located in the heart of the CBD shopping district, only a 5 min walk to Darling Harbour and St James train station and 15 min walk to The Rocks. Staff were very friendly and the concierge team were always willing to...

The location is perfect if you love shopping. It's in a prime location for the Pitt st mall shopping area. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are absolutely delightful. There is a wide range of food in the hotel which is always a bonus.

We had everything we needed. Because the hotel doesn't have it's own parking, it takes a little time to get your car back if you use the valet parking. That said, in Sydney traffic, and in the rain as it was when we arrived, we were so grateful that someone else could deal with that for us. This is the...

Fantastic location for anything Sydney CBD. I had a event to go to in the city, and needed a bed for the night. I had a great night sleep cause the bed was so comfortable, the room was dark and it was so quiet, hard to believe i was in the city.

So central to Sydney and so quiet. Super friendly staff. Very quick check in and out. Very nice large room. What more could you ask for. I didn't use any of the bars or restaurants or other facilities as it was a quick in and out trip but they looked excellent. Next time I will.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights when I was in Sydney. they said it's non smoking hotel so I booked the room with balcony paying extra $100. when I was checking in, no one told me that smoking is prohibited at the balcony so I thought it wasn't wrong to smoke out side the patio. 2nd night, they...

I had a one night stay but had to move because they were really busy with a conference, absolutely loved this hotel. It is as short walk from Sydney Harbour & is as comfortable as a hotel can be. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
