I was really impressed with the very friendly and relaxed staff. The hotel rooms themselves are not huge, but certainly adequate. Wifi is free and there is a small kitchenette. The location is very convenient for sightseeing or entertainment and not far from Kings Cross rail station.

Great in room amenities, staff friendly upon arrival, nice to see clean fresh room, most places dont have that feel these days.Bath available but only tiny so no big soak, pool looked inviting but was raining whilst we were there. Room rate not bad but do charge for extra guest even though we had two double beds i think it...

Great views, the room was very clean and well priced. Fantastic service from friendly staff who were very tolerant of the excited country kids. Handy having the kitchenette and Woolies across the road. Would definitely stay there again.

Little kitchenette inc. microwave top! Two beds and baby bed if required. The neighborhood has Woolworth supermarket, plenty of Italian, French, Chinese restaurants and gourmet delicatessen. Still only little traffic.

Booked this as we needed somewhere cheap and cheerful near the city centre for one night with the kids. Great hotel, very clean, rooms a little dated but certainly good value for money. Unfortunately you should only stay here if you're not bringing your car. The car park is tiny, each space is too small for a regular sized car...

The service is great the view is great but the rooms are small and the car park tight. The rooms look like it is out of a 80s TV show mixed with a modern room and the car park is to small for big cars more for city cars with 2 doors and a small boot. There is no swimming...

This must be our 5th or 6th stay at the Macleay Hotel. We had again a very pleasant stay of 5 days there. The view from the room we usually get ( 603) is just awesome. The staff are always so helpful. And love the new Toiletries they have now! The location is just sooooo good. We will be back!

The location of this Hotel is fantastic. Not all rooms have Bridge views but we liked the water views of the cove and yachts. Close to great restaurants, transport, Supermarkets. The family enjoyed walking through the Botanical Gardens and past the Opera House as we started or ended our day at Circular Quay most days. Friendly Staff and serviced apartment...
