We stayed here for three nights recently and found it to be close to everything that we needed. The ammenities were clean, staff friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was included which was fantastic ( very simple, all that we needed) , would definitely stay again.

Second time I have stayed here. The first visit was excellent value for inner city location, great room. Spacious, airy, clean and a pleasure to use. Lovely view through leafy plane trees of Hyde Park. This last visit was a deal room. It was no deal. No window, no air, felt like a cell. Don't even try to swing a...

I stayed 3 nights at the Hyde Park Inn on the weekend of 7 March for the Sydney Mardi Gras. I have been staying there for Mardi Gras for the last 4 years. The hotel is in a good location. Being on Elizabeth Street opposite Hyde Park, the Hotel is close to the Pitt and George Street entertainment strip with...

I wasn't expecting too much considering the price per night (in the middle of Sydney, overlooking beautiful Hyde Park), but I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful room, it was very clean and lovely. It was so quiet we found ourselves sleeping in (although we were only on level 2). The location is amazing - right across the road from...

Right in the heart of Sydney, overlooking the park. We couldn't ask for a better location. We got a 2 bedroom suite and it was quiet, clean and comfortable. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

I stay here all the time and it is Sydney's best kept secret. Location, location, location. It is close to public transport and some of Sydney's best eating spots and shopping. Rooms are very comfortable, the kitchenette is a bonus. Free Wifi, parking and friendly staff. Would recommend it all the time.

We were a family of 4 on a room on the 9th floor, the view of the park was nice. The room had a double, and 2 single beds. The kitchenette was well equipped. The room was a narrower rectangular shape, which caused us no problem. All services were fine, the internet access is Ok but the 1Gb limit was...

I recommend this hotel to everyone. It's got a great location right in the centre of the city. We travelled as a couple in Feb 2015. The rooms were better than we expected...spacious and with a great view. Rooms had all amenities. The hotel provides free parking to residents. For a place like Sydney its value for money. The only...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
