I'm here right now on business trip and while the location is second to few other hotels, the hotel lack of some basic comforts. Rooms are VERY small and at least in my room (904) here the problems: - Shower: water temperature is unstable and keep changing between very hot and cold. - Air Condition: the only good thing is...

If you've stayed at an Ibis Hotel before then you probably know that it's nothing fancy. They are pretty basic as far as hotels come and for the most part pretty clean. I have to say that the saving grace of this hotel was location. The hotel itself was quite dated and the rooms though clean were tiny and did...

The hotel was basic, but reception staff could do with being trained in how to welcome their guests and also discharge when guests are leaving. did not think the experience was value for money. the breakfast was basic, but I would not pay for it again, could get better value outside.

Fabulous location, can walk everywhere but it is a very basic hotel. Very small rooms and bathroom and tiny shower, would not recommend for anyone other than small, average build. Fine for an overnight stay when you aren't planning a big night and need to get ready for event or planning much time in your room other than to sleep....

I was at the Ibis with a group of girls for a hens night. We had 4 people to a room and 5 rooms. When I arrived I was informed that the air conditioning in 4 of our 5 rooms wasn't working. I was certain that this must have been an error as the rooms have no other ventilation and...

Hi, Thank you for your review and taking my call in regards to your friends Hens night. Please note the air from the Air Conditioning was fresh air, you and your friends were not in any harm during your stay. I have personally spoken to the organizer of the group and she has accepted my apology and outcome. If I...

Not having visited Sydney before, we took our travel agents advice and booked this hotel. It is very tired and dated and really is more like a hostel than an hotel. The room we had was small. There is nowhere here to store luggage if you arrive and your room is not ready or you need to leave late, other...

Hi, Thank you for your review, we are upgrading our rooms now, We are a 166 room hotel and our Breakfast room seats 80 pax, I am sorry if you found it small. Our location does give you a wonderful selection of fantastic resturants in the area, I glad you took to opportunity to visit them.

Don't expect much because it is not much other than a comfortable place to sleep. Good air con, good TV. small rooms ok of one. Reception demands photo ID (even though the room had been pre paid) which is a surprise considering Australian citizens by law are NOT required to carry any ID at all, by luck I had my...

Hi, Thank yuo for your review. The Hotel will ask for ID in case of an emergency. If something was to happen to you we can then give that information to the police or Hospital. It is unfortunate that incidents do occur when people travel. Thank you for your review, I hope this helps you when travelling.

We stayed at this hotel for one night only and while the rooms are small they are comfortable. The queen bed is a double size at best though and the air conditioning was far too cold, even on the warmest setting so we had to turn it off which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep as you can't open the...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
