We only stayed one night but were impressed with everything about this hotel. Beds are super comfy, there was a personalised welcome message on our tv, the room was spotless and ALL staff were warm and welcoming. We opted to have room service breakfast the next morning which was delivered to our room and set up in front of our...

Four Seasons Sydney is a lovely hotel. Our room was nicely appointed and the view was spectacular- Opera House & harbour right out our window. We stayed 5 nights to tour not only Sydney, but day trips to Blue Mountains & Hunter Valley (wine tasting). The Four Seasons had outstanding service; we especially loved Josh, the concierge; he was so...

Four Seasons is a great chain. Sydney's is in a good location but access is tough with light rail construction. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit tired and small compared with other 5 star hotels for the price . Bed is great. Service is excellent as is the restaurant and bar.

Situated on George Street, which is a great location in this bustling city, we enjoyed a fantastic view of the Opera House and a sunrise over the Harbor just before any boats were seen bustling around. Within walking distance to the historic Rocks and the hubbub of the Opera House. Four Season's service is always superb. Staff was friendly and...

Service and views were great, we stayed here 15 years ago and were happy then and coming back was worth it. From check in to check out we couldn't fault the staff, the cleanliness was great although not a modern hotel it is a classic. Only down side was the building work for the trams outside, so book a high...

Be advised that a "PURCHASE AUTHORISATION" is a charge to your credit card. The 'so called " imprint for later billing is not technically correct. This hotel, and others, I am informed, along with car rental operators, actually process the "Purchase Authorisation". This has no effect if you process your account on departure with the same credit card used for...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
