We travelled to Sydney to join a cruise and this hotel was a short walk to the cruise terminal. Also it was a short walk from the airport train station. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous. We were offered a courtesy car to take us too the city and the cruise terminal. It was...

I just got back today from 3 nights at this property. The exterior of the building is no better than a Marriott from 1976. The interior is no better than a Marriott in 1997. Surely the hotel knows it, it's such a bummer given the grandeur experienced across the brand globally and the potential for something great in Sydney. The...

We stayed for three nights in a full harbour view room and it was definitely worth paying extra for! We loved it - waking up to a view of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Bridge made our stay in this beautiful city something really special. The staff on the desk were really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful -...

I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at the Four Seasons. The staff were incredibly helpful and so lovely, it really makes a difference! The rooms were of a very high standard and the beds were easily the most comfortable sleep I have had in a long time. I will most definitely be returning again!

My wife and mother and I stayed here for 3 nights after a 14 Holland America cruise, it was wonderful. The service couldn't have been better. The location is great for exploring the dock land area, tons of great restaurants and bars easy ferry ride to other areas

Our group was very excited to stay at the Four Seasons Sydney. We booked club floor rooms several months before our trip. Less than two weeks before our trip, I got an email letting me know that the club floor was being redone and we would not have use of it. They offered us $40/nt credit per room to use...

We checked in the day before and received an email when the room was ready which was rather early. It was awesome to experience the magnificent view on our 30th floor. We requested champagne glasses and an ice bucket which both arrived promptly. The pool was gorgeous and we spent the afternoon in a cabana enjoying the poolside bar service....

Room not ready for an hour after check in time and then was given the wrong room. Had booked well in advance a room with twin beds (friend & I catching up in Sydney for a long weekend to see a concert at the Opera House) and were shown to a room with one king size bed. Moved to much...

We had a spacious corner room overlooking the Opera House, which we really enjoyed - good amenities, comfortable bed and superb view. Our 2 year old daughter was very well looked after. We also enjoyed the breakfast and pre-dinner drinks at the club lounge. It will definitely be our choice of hotel when we visit Sydney.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
