We stay three nights over the weekend. The location was perfect. We walked to most places but we also had the convenience of Central station nearby. Some wonderful lane-way eateries not too far away and a supermarket just a stroll away.

Hotel very convenient from Central and by bus to Martin Place for attending Pinchgut Opera early every December. Pleasant staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Pleasant cafe. No grab rails in shower - drainage not absolutely efficient in shower - some wattle came out onto bathroom floor..

A comfortable stay near central and china town. Sleeping was easy, easy place to get to and close to eateries and other facilities. The room was comfortable and well maintained being comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and had everything needed.

PATHETIC HOTEL - The place is grubby from the moment you walk in, there was never any effort to go beyond and above. The Food from the Kitchen was microwaved chicken breast and even though they had 5 choices of red wine on the list only 1 was available. WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN

Convenient location, close to trains and transport. Rooms were clean. Customer service with front staff was lacking both on check-in and check-out. Breakfast was nice, not a lot of variety in what was available.

Business trip 2 night stay where I had 3 other work coliges that I recommended to the hotel all of whom appeared to be happy with the facilities and the accommodations of the Rendevouze central. One of my main reasons for selecting this hotel is location to central station within walking distance as well as the vibrancy of the cbd

My accomodation was wonderful and the staff were very welcoming and helpful especially the man that greeted me at the desk when I arrived on Thursday the 1st December. I was close to the trains and even managed to go and see Aladdin the musical.

The Rendezvous is perfectly situated for public transport, city shopping and University business. Don't expect bells and whistles but you will get friendly service, a great shower and a clean room that is more up to date than the reception and dining areas.

This is by far the most horrible experience from a hotel service I've ever had. The only saving grace of the hotel is the location (Sydney's train is good, just get somewhere else near another train station and you will be fine). We were pretty early so the room wasn't available and deposited our luggages first (9am+). By the time...

Staff were friendly and provided great service, the hotel was in a good location however the bed linen smelt funny and the mattress was uncomfortable. The room appeared clean and overlooked the street. One of my colleagues though had a room that had no natural light.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
