I found the room small, terrible pillows. The opera veiw room had a veiw if you pushed your face against the window and looked between the other buildings. The pool was freezing cold, no spa as promised in the pictures on the website. Staff were fabulous but for the cost of the room, we were a bit dissapointed.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Marriott Sydney Harbour. They did not tell me about all the building works when I booked, there was no apology for the lack of a reception area in which to meet business associates, no offer of compensation and the noise of drilling and hammering in the restaurant was intolerable. This reflects badly... More

Overall I had a wonderful experience while staying here. My only minor complaint would be the lack of consistency with housekeeping. Some days the room was not made up until late afternoon (after 3 pm), other days only a couple of towels and wash cloths were left in the bathroom and the toiletries were not consistently replenished. The staff in... More

I absolutely agree with the previous reviewer. For a 4half - 5 star hotel, we expected much better service. We booked the property for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary after our cruise to the South Pacific Islands. We read the lovely reviews here and decided to book the accommodation despite the ongoing construction. We were sent to the... More

When hotel was booked we were not informed of the construction work inside and out of the hotel. It was LOUD and STRESSFUL and even the hotel staff seemed marked by the noise. They promised us rooms without noise though, but this was NOT the case. We could hear the loud construction work from 6 AM.

We stayed at this hotel for a treat as a start to our holiday to visit friends. We had read the reviews before hand and were not worried about the ongoing refurbishment in the foyer and other areas. We checked in late at night after a long flight. The desk clerk was polite and helpful. There are plenty of elevators... More

The lobby and recreation areas were being renovated. Lots of barriers and construction noise. The room was ok but small for the price. View was good but it can't make up for the mess. I usually use the hotel amenities but I had to get away from the clutter. Stay anywhere else for a few months. This hotel was very... More

Enjoyed the great location! Easy access to transportation and walking! The staff was helpful, professional and friendly! Rooms clean and the view on the 27th floor was beautiful! Staff was so helpful when we needed a cab to the airport during a busy time!

We were attending a wedding in the Circular Quay area, so wanted walking distance to the Quay. This location was perfect for that, as it was only a few minutes walk from the Museum of Contemporary Art where the reception was held. Additionally it's wonderfully convenient and a very pleasant walk to the retail area of the city - less... More

The room itself was nice and the location is outstanding. I highly recommend anyone visiting Sydney to stay in the circular quay for walking and train access to everything. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because lobby renovation. Noisy and not very inviting at this time.
