We had the best night at The Darling. Beautiful room, extremely comfortable bed and fantastic service at the front desk. Michelle was amazing and in our hour of need having missed a flight connection from Sydney to Singapore due to virgin Austalia cancelling flights… we arrived at the hotel very stressed. The room was absolutely beautiful very spacious and romantic perfect for a couples getaway. Staff were amazing from the minute we walked it, both friendly and helpful especially Tenzing. She made the checkin process fast and made us feel very welcomed in a professional manner with great knowledge of not only the hotel but surroundings aswell. We were even blessed to get a free room upgrade when we expressed it was a birthday stay. Would highly recommend booking the darling

Glamorous! The staff from check in to check out went above expectations. The room was breathtaking, modern, luxurious and that view! When I needed a taxi, a staff member walked down and called one up for me. When I needed directions, a staff member walked with me. Room service was excellent. Highly recommend.

From the time we were greeted when we pulled up the staff were amazing, nothing was too hard, they made us feel welcome and helped us where ever they could. We felt there was little value to this hotel. It is very expensive and it is a bit dated. The common areas are very dull and when you step outside the hotel itself, the entire precinct is Geordie Shore tacky vibes. It’s like a big shopping centre food court and is far removed from a luxury hotel. The luxury shops in that precinct were empty and more often than not closed. The area (Pyrmont) is also a bit dull, not many bars and restaurants and it is a bit isolated from the city. I wish my husband had booked something more city based. All in all, the Darling does not deliver the experience it charges for.

I was travelling to Australia and chose the Darling as my first destination. Car park is huge and I don't have to worry about the parking space, the concern was the car park is massive and it was hard for me to location my car after I parked. Bellboys were very attentive and well presented, they were not hesitated to carry luggages for me. The receptionist Sonica was very nice and helpful and she recommended me with some good places nearby and in Bondi. Quick and smooth check-in as I was very tired after a long flight. I booked the spa suite and the room was very clean and nice. The only complaint was that there was not enough time for me to enjoy the facility inside the hotel such as the swimming pool and the gym. Very nice touch during the check out as Sonica gave me two bottles of water just in case I got dehydrated when I go to Bondi. Thank you the Darling team and I hope I will see you very soon. …
