I cannot believe the incompetence at a hotel of this supposed quality. People at reception were nasty and unwilling to help At 2:00 our room was still not made up for the day and the outlets were defective so we could not charge devices. With a sumptuous buffet for breakfast where you can eat as much as possible they charge for a second cup of coffee. I am just astounded

Hotel's Favourite
Incredible! This hotel stands out as the most magnificent I've ever experienced. Since our initial visit, we've returned to the Crown four more times, making it a family tradition. The buffet surpasses any we've encountered, offering unparalleled food quality. The service is consistently exceptional, and the valet parking ensures a seamless experience. Each stay at the Crown makes us feel like absolute royalty. The only drawback is the occasional necessity to stay in other hotels lacking the luxury service and amenities that the Crown provides. The cocktails are nothing short of sublime, and the pool, rain or shine, is absolutely stunning. The breathtaking views further elevate the experience, and the beds and linen are the epitome of comfort, offering the most amazing sleep I've ever had. Without a doubt, we will continue to return to this exceptional hotel again and again. The Crown has set a standard that makes it challenging to enjoy accommodations elsewhere.

Crown Towers is well worth it's 5 star rating. Beautifully turned out Hotel with all the amenities you require. All staff were friendly, polite , helpful & very professional all adding to the experience. We had lunch in The Waiting room and were looked after by Leah . She looked after us a treat & got our stay off to a great start. TWR has a lovely ambiance & a good selection of food & drink which , given the class of the Hotel, were at good prices. Had a nice evening meal in Amore but no more than that. Room on the 21st floor was unbelievable. Top top quality with amazing views of the harbour, Bridge & Opera House. Breakfast superb & set you up for the day. Would highly recommend a stay here , it will leave you with some great lifetime memories.

Wow..we recently spent three nights here in a Premier room. The small touches were amazing…all the little extras in the bathroom..bath salts, tooth brushes, combs, vanity sets that contained make up remover kit and a hair band!!. The toilet even opened as you entered! Room service had such a lot of choice. The room was massive. The bath tub was excellent and the views were outstanding. Service was excellent,,we did not have any issues and everything was always no trouble. The breakfast bar was amazing…the best I have ever experienced. The bed was so comfortable. Loved the pool and spa. Excellent location….you just have to do it!!

Luxurious Staycay for hubbies 50th Birthday. Lucky it fell on a Sunday which is more reasonable in price than a Friday or Saturday. Don't believe its worth spending that extra $$$. Is a bit overrated, however breakfast at Epicurean and complimentary bottle of high end champagne accompanied with the most delicious fine dark chocolates

Had an incredible stay from check in to check out!.be sure to see photos as it feels like this page needed an upgrade of photos of facilities Check in was a breeze with early check in after a hectic day of travel was greeted by Astrid who went above and beyond with a great bubbly personality and someone who obvisouly loves and takes pride with what they do at work.fantastic enough gave us a room upgrade which was a delight and a ten out of ten from my young children who loved the views from every angle of the room!. The room offered everything needed for our stay and months later my son still talks about it. The bed was big enough to fit 2 adults a 6 year old and 4 month old at the time and offered exceptional comfort like sleeping in a perfect nest with the comfort of goosedown blanket. The room is controlled by an ipad which was quite fun to toy with and do things a little different..had some problems with it not working but after a phone call to reception twice it was fixed in the hour by staff and worked fine for the rest of our stay. The bathroom was and is deffiantly the best ive ever used in any hotel in any country. The bath is the best relaxing time ive had in long time the size of it is ridiculous and could fit a small family in it thats how it felt haha..but the thing was able to relax with great view of the bridge from the window and having the coolest tv feature on the wall and able to watch the finals of the cricket world cup in a relaxing tub with salts for half and hour..the shower also is one for the books HUGE! with rain fall features ect and a seat to kick back on and let the water just pour on you. The toilets offering a bidet and being it was for the first time for my family to try unlike myself who have experienced it plenty in japan its a great eye opener for the westerners tho the water was alot hotter on the dot compared to japan's with water temperture control features. Room service from the room was fast and quick and resonalbly priced for the ice cream for the kid at night and offered a good amount to the delight of my son who enjoyed it at the table with views over the harbour and pool. Fantastic pool and spa with a good sized crowd not to busy and everyone just enjoying them selves taking photos eating good food ect: the only dissapointment was the cocktails offered by pool for the price and surcharge the drinks were poorly made and just all icr cubes and just a ripoff in general for what i was paying for so thats a negative for the drinks but the food was great and cooked well and enjoyable. The gym is one of the best gyms ive seen in any hotel offereing basically everythinh you could possibly want with great views of all different window angles of the harbour ect..tip if you run out of bottles in the room be sure to grab a few from the fridge in the gym as it has a little fridge full Crown is centrally located with plenty of resturants to choose from tho book in advance is a must do but also the benifit of epicurean breakfast buffet free with the stay is going to be a highlight with some of the best food promise you will want to bring your A+ game and a stomach to fit it in. Tho theres also plenty of resturants off the lot with ferrys and taxi accesible minutes by otherwise a nice walk to haymarket, cocklebay wharf ect is in distance. Casino on level 2(i think it was)is able to be accessed for your stay with a rather lengthy membership process considering the casinos ive been too tho being a member at crown perth and melbourne made it a simple process in about 10 minutes gettings the ticks and boxes approved i guess tho had a cool off period and has to wait 24hours to be able to enter so will have to wait for next time as i had other prioritys to not be able to have a flutter All in all great stay and will be back with the family in june for another quick stay before darting off overseas

Crown Sydney should be delivering much more for its reputation (and price). It feels as if they’ve bitten off more than they can chew. I received a credit via Fine Hotels booking which I discovered wasn’t completely applied after checking out. After multiple emails and calls (no one called me back) I received a response 2 weeks later to apply the credit. The lobby area is quite small (especially compared to the lovely big lobby in Melbourne), there’s little seating and only a small area for people to line up. Check-in/check-out takes forever. Lifts take forever. Breakfast is the most incredible buffet however can feel like a bit of a circus- and if you arrive after about 8.30/9 expect a long line and a wait (not great for a 5 star hotel). Pool is amazing but regularly dirty dishes were left lying around and surfaces not wiped. Views and room are fantastic although each day there was always something missing from the room servicing and they had ran out of bars of soap. For the price I would look elsewhere.

It is disappointing to say that my experience at the Crown Towers Sydney was despicable! They proclaim to be a 6 star impeccable hotel, I have travelled a lot and this doesn't even live up to a 4 star hotel that is many years older. It is so overpriced and over rated. I usually do not write bad reviews as i choose to sort out the issues with the hotel directly to be fair however with no response i feel that it is important that I pre warn others. I had 4 rooms for my family for 3 nights which the cost of the rooms was significant. The check-in process is archaic! You would think you are back in the 90's. The ques are unacceptable. The lobby is mayhem. Other hotels have online processes then short queue for cards if needed and offer a relaxing area with complimentary teas / beverages to make you feel welcome. Crown does not. Then you have to provide ID to be photo copied.. security alert! When i eventually accessed my room is was filthy dirty! (rings around bath tub, spilled drinks on tiled floors, food and drinks on carpets and walls, broken furniture, liquid stained furniture) I called 8 times over 3 hours requesting a room change, repeating the issues to every person I spoke to who all said someone would all me back immediately. Then I had to go down to reception. complain to the manager at which point I was viably almost in tears! I was advised I would be upgraded which then took another hour and a half. My day was wasted. Then the room I was moved to was just as filthy dirty, larger than i needed with worse views and amenities. My daughters were given same cards to same room instead of sperate rooms, my ley didn't work at all more than once. the pool service was non existent and the area was overcrowded and dirty. No possible late check outs. Service in restaurant non existent! Disaster in every way. Will happily never stay there again and look forward to many other better options in Sydney.

We had no room service, left with dirty cups and wet dirty towels in the room and lack of complimentary water provided, despite requesting this on the room iPad in the morning, in person at reception and phoning guest services twice. Considering it costs $900 a night, the Crowne Plaza Coogee provides a far better service for half the cost. The pool is in the shade most of the day and the pool food arrives cold and the octopus salad was chewy and like rubber but costs $37. It is a beautiful hotel but their service is lacking and food is poor and expensive expensive.

When we checked in the room wasn’t ready, that was ok because we were early. I said I sleep lightly so I need a quiet room please (I had also mentioned this on my booking). When we got to the room it was next to the elevators so we called to see if we could secure a room swap, they said they’d check and that was the end of that. After travelling all morning and then sitting in the sun waiting for our room I really wanted a shower but when we got to the room our luggage wasn’t there. Our bags came 30mins later and then “welcome bubbles” 15 mins after that. Plus a delivery of toilet paper which had been missing. I didn’t want to dirty the room if we were moving so I just waited. Still waiting an hour later for the call back regarding the room swap we called again and said we’re heading to the pool so please call the mobile. When we arrived at the pool which was basically hell on earth for an introvert. It was full of loud people drinking in and around the pool, there was the added chaos of blaring house music and kids running and screaming everywhere. We couldn’t find 2 seats together initially because families were spread out everywhere with prams and bags and paraphernalia. We had a very quick dip and returned to the room. Still no call. Meanwhile people were yelling up and down the hallway outside. I usually stay at the Langham or Four Seasons, I’ll be returning there. Th Crown Sydney is noisy, tacky, overpriced and the furnishings resemble those of a mass produced kit home. There stains on the carpet, chips out of the cupboards and goodness knows what spilled on the tiles. I expected a more refined and serene experience, I should have known better (it’s a Casino what was I thinking!) This place is a horrid waste of money, stay somewhere cheaper and you can achieve the same garish experience.
