the hotel is near to bus stop and train station. There is a supermarket near the hotel. Many restaurants are around, Thai, Japanese, etc. Car park is also convenient. Rooms are quite small though. Helpful staff.

Street location close to some marginal areas. Long walk to downtown and bay area. Overall was satisfied with the room but felt it was a little over sold, maybe we were just unlucky and very little sitting area. Bathroom was tight and very small as well

Great little hotel in Potts Point, walking distance to Circular Quay and Surry Hills and bus and train just outside. Rooms are adequate but limited other facilities. Would be nice if they offered a simple breakfast in a bag even for a surcharge. However, there's a large supermarket and mini shopping centre next almost next door. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Bayswater was comfortable, convenient and great value for money for a business trip. Air-conditioning was welcome at the end of a long, humid day, and every basic amenity we needed was provided. Our rooms were simple, clean and comfortable, and the cafe downstairs was very welcome in the early morning. Location is excellent and convenient – easy access to the...

Good location , near to the train station ,next to the Coles .but the room is really small and we can basically here everything that happens in next door. Not a good experience. But the staff in there is really nice and helpful.

The Baywater's manager Ken turned a potentially really bad experience into a really good one for us… We attempted to modify our booking online using Booking.com (switching for bigger rooms), but something broke down in the process and even though we have received confirmation that the change had been made, our booking had somehow been cancelled altogether. It was a...

Probably a better accommodation for the young and middle age traveler. The neighborhood was convenient and the atmosphere at Kings Cross was good for people watching. Lots of strip joints and massage parlors but not dangerous.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
