Hotel was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful. Area was in Kings Cross which has a reputation for being undesirable. We only went to local hotel called New Hampton for our dinner at night food was amazing service was outstanding. I would go back to this hotel, central to centre of Sydney, 20 minutes walk into Opera house or taxi...

Room did not look like pictures and had we known it was that small would have went somewhere else. Location was great though and close to public transport. Also tripped over a raised bump on the floor.

Central location for what we wanted to do. Staff and hotel were just right, and it was near enough to walk to numerous locations. Would recommend :) If we ever come back to Sydney we would stay here again.

Very friendly staff; close to train station and to many restaurants/"party mile"; rooms could have been larger; very narrow rooms when you travel with big luggage; nevertheless good value for the price;

Great cafés, Restaurants and supermarket around. Fitness First Gym right beside the hotel. Metro at Kings Cross right around the corner. To me this hotel is totally recommendable. Make sure that you don't get the room on Ground floor in front of the luggage storage room (Number 101), because it can be a little noisy in the mornings.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
