The rooms en bathrooms were clean. I think it is sad that the rooftop was only openend until 8pm. Staff was nice and polite and the shared areas were good. The kitchen was good as well but a bit small. The location was good although the area is noizy. Just around the corner there is a supermarket and a train station. The atmosphere was good. I would recommend this hostel and I would book again.

I stayed here with my sister for 4 nights. The room was basic with a sink which was handy compared to other hostels I have stayed it. Very noisy bunk beds and the one sheet had stains on which wasn’t great. If you are at the front of the property then there is a lot of noise from the street below even when you are on the top floor of the building which also doesn’t have a lift and we didn’t get asked for our bags to be carried as you have stated in replies to other reviews. The corridor had a fousty smell and I got locked in one of the bathrooms as the door was jammed at 2am on one of the evenings which I only got out because another girl heard me shouting for help. All I got was a basic apology from a staff member in the morning that I happened to walk past. I will say that the location of this hostel is good and central with easy transport and the bus stop was right outside!

Stayed here with friends, and we are SO confused how this place managed to average four stars on Trip Advisor. Rooms are not the cleanest, and funny smells are everywhere. Bathrooms are not the cleanest either. The worst part though is how many people seem to be drunk (smashed, is more accurate) at any given time at the hostel's public areas! King's Cross has a reputation, sure, but the 'drunk Aussie looking for fisticuffs' stereotype seem to only exist within the walls of this hostel. You can also never be sure if the person at the front desk is an employee, or a friend of an employee. There are DOZENS of better places, go book there.

I stayed here for about a month inconsistently. My experience did change each time but that more depended on the other people staying there. Sometimes you could here people from other rooms being really loud other times it was quiet. Bathrooms were big enough but seem to be out of order quite regularly. The breakfast selection was good as well, your typical cereal and bread but there was alot of it. I would stay here again.
