Very basic and old.Needs a good bit of maintenance. Good location, close to Broadway Shopping Centre and opposite Victoria park. I would not recommend for families with young children. Limited Parking. Staff were helpful

There is a huge swing of ratings for this hotel. But you need to evaluate it based on its price compared to others is the area to give a fair rating For under $80 a night and it's close proximity to trendy and/or cafes, it I think the hotel has merit. The immediate area is a bit tired looking from...

Location is the best feature here. The room is clean but basic with worn furnishings all around. I guess the owner is just hanging on the raise money to build an apartment block. Chinese staff with not the best English but are helpful none the less.

Here's a tip people, if you're paying under $100.00 a night for a twin bed room in the centre of Sydney then you're not staying at the Hyatt. Seems ridiculous that people would complain about really budget accommodation (didn't you get a hint from the price you were charged, what do you expect ?) This place is in an excellent...

Good things: All I needed was a bed and shower for the weekend and it provides. It's in a great location. One of the receptionists were really helpful when I needed to do some printing. I already read a lot of reviews so didnt expect much. I only rated down because the one window in the room had a broken...

I booked this hotel as I wanted something close to the Opera House etc that wasn't going to charge a fortune. This is a 10 minute walk to Central station and then a short train ride to the Opera House. It's budget but a dump. There was mould on the curtains, holes in the carpets, dirty staircase, no lift (...

Ok you get what you pay for but for $NZ90 I would have expected better. "Greeted" by matter-of-fact staff. There is no lift so I had to walk up 3 levels ...... The stairwell stunk of urine. Got to room - well attached photos will explain it all. Asked staff about the best way to get to airport .... They...

Needed something for 1 night close to central. I don't rank down for no reason. Dirty, horrible. Vomit on matresses, sheets so thin they looked wet and wouldn't stay on bed, wouldn't use showers for fear of something nasty growing in the mould. Just a no go for a family.

Dirty and threadbare. Fire escape doors wedged open, so no security. Shower black with mould. Holes in the wall. Noisy. Fire escape so rusty I was worried about standing on it. Air conditioning didn't work. Dropped off new teabags but didn't take away the previous day's used ones. Windows didn't open.........................stay somewhere else.

Its not like they are trying but their efforts are out weighed by their abilities both financial or diy to get this place to a standard. There is a lot that is not up to a basic one star standard here. Very mouldy showers. Threadbare mattress that was 5 years over its max life, dirty and no mattress protectors. Bathroom...

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
