My wife and I were on a budget and we booked a private double room with shared bathroom for three nights. The property is located near Sydney's China Town. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making a clearly old building look as clean as possible. The room was dated but clean and came with a...

Initially I was worried about staying here after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have worried. I stayed in a single room on the 3rd floor. Yes, there is no air conditioner in the room and you can sometimes hear the traffic on the street (particularly buses). But the staff were friendly, it's in a good location and the rooms...

Above hostel level, above street level. 3 storeys to lug luggage up narrow stairs. Clean comfortable beds, very good showers and toilet but only one per gender located down the hall. Close to Capitol Theatre, Cnr Pitt & Campbell Sts. Two and a bit blocks to Central station. Check in seemed to be longer than usual with form filling &...

This hotel maybe in a heritage building and the facilities are definitely very, very old - in dire need of maintenance - or even a good clean! Yes - it is central to southern CBD and yes it is relatively cheap ($200 for a 4 bed room) but I won't stay here again. The beds were comfortable but there were...

An overnight here cost a whopping $185 for what should be $100 at most. The place is in a great location 5 minutes from Central Station and access to most of Sydney. I was also able to grab a good warm shower in the share bathroom. That was about the end of the good stuff. The share bathroom was basic...

A last minute trip to Sydney necessitated a stay in a Hostel so not to pay exorbitant room rates. Had a 3 person room - a double bed with a single bunk above. I was pleasantly surprised by the state of the room. They supplied blankets, towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash. While I'd never stay in a Hostel...

We had a reunion with friends from the states so we needed somewhere cheap, central and with a few people to fit in one room. This ticked all the boxes. We had no problems. Having no lift wasn't fun with a room up on the top floor but my legs got a good workout. Bathrooms were relatively clean, and the...

This hostel is very close from Central Station. Then a nice walk via Pitt St leads you to the Opera House. Also, if want great food, Chinatown is close. Location is definitely the best part of the place. Price affordable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room with heater. However, no stove in the kitchen and hot water was not steady when bathing. All in all, excellent experience! Ll definitely come again.

This hostel is just a little walk from the train/bus station. Not that far from the operahouse or other known places you want to see. The people there is really helpful, they even help you up to your room with your baggage. The room I was in was a bit small, but it was alright. You get free wifi, and...
