Stayed one night ,Tuesday 2nd Oct. The interior was unexpected. Quite charming. Convenient Function areas. The Restaurant offered a good menu. There is a small poker room. The bedrooms are comfy with clean updated bathroom facilities. Bedding was very cosy and bed comfortable. The location of this hotel was great, right across the road from the entrance to the Railway....

Incredibily overzealous with customer service. Absolutely empty pub that turns away customers who have had only a few drinks at local venues. Refuse to provide water, and security staff are only interested in their mates being patrons. An absolute terrible venue any time of the day and night. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Hi Toby, I thought i'd take this opportunity to refresh your memory of your experience with The Royal Exhibition Hotel. As you approached the front of the hotel, I inquired how your night had been, from your obscenity riddled response I came to the conclusion that you were at a point of intoxication where I would be breaking the law...

Really lovely hotel. Rooms are quite large, nicely furnished, very clean. Modern bathroom. Only problem....stayed on a Saturday night. Fair bit of street noise from patrons, even with double windows. I'm sure it would be quieter during the week. I would definitely recommend it though.

An older style hotel with large rooms very close to the city and across the road from the railway entrance. Friendly staff, good amenities and reasonably priced. With the pub and restaurant downstairs and restaurants close by meal options are many.

This is a wonderful hotel steeped in history with a really friendly feel. The hotel is full of history and the most amazing staircase and an elevator for those less adventurous. Michael and his wonderful staff could not make you more welcome and being above a public bar and it's own bistro you don't need to venture far. The meals...

I booked Royal Exhibition Hotel based on other Trip Advisor reviews and found it matched closely with what I had read. The Deluxe room was clean, spacious, basically quiet (some street noise that reduced/stopped by late evening), with good amenities. Had fridge/tea & coffee, so could make breakfast in room. Loved the bathroom and good quality towels. The management were pleasant...

Certainly immediate access to Sydney's Central Station, the railway hub for Sydney and New South Wales, has to be a prime statement about this hotel. I was uncertain what to expect having read other reviews prior to booking and thus my expectations were not overly high. But this review is very positive indeed. NOTE: my stay was for one night...

Have stayed here on numerous occasions as it is in close proximity to Central Railway, Broadway and the CBD. They have a little bistro that serves great food at reasonable prices and have a great gaming area which includes pokies and a TAB. The Staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

The accommodation itself is acceptable. However, my bill was double charged. I booked this hotel online and my visa card details were collected to reserve the booking, I was told to pay when I went to check in. However, my visa was still charged even after I have paid in cash during check in. I have phoned the hotel and...

Upon receipt of your booking the credit card provided is pre-authorized in the amount of the first nights’ accommodation. This information is under...

Hadn't been to town much but wanted a good old fashion pub to hang out in... Great experience very accommodating, friendly & really well priced. Location was spot on for transport. Meet owners very down to earth & with a clear vision of where they would like to take pub in. Highly recommended!!

Thank Jeremy M
