I was working in Sydney for about 3 months and was set up with an apartment here. It was fine for a few days however the washer/dryer combo did not work. They came to fix it, said it was fixed but it still didn't work. The heat was also not working and the management came several times to fix it...

We looked at many options to stay for a short family break in Sydney & I have to say I was a little bit dubious about this having read other reviews. What sold us was the value for money & the location which is fabulous - a very short stroll to Circular Quay to access ferries & the opera house...

We (two couples) stayed here for 4 nights over New Year. We both booked One bedroomed apartments and were given rooms on the 15th and 16th floors. Ours (1609) was dark, tired and badly in need of a renovation, our friends scored the newer room (1511) which was light, bright and airy. The kitchen crockery/utensils were also completely different Ours...

The apartments are very clean and include a small kitchen, washer and dryer. You cannot beat the location and the price. These apartments are located right in the middle of everything you want to see in Sydney. Everything is within walking distance from the apartments. Circular Quay is a 5 minute walk and the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge...

I booked to stay at these apartments for a 2-night conference. I am in a wheelchair, and I knew they did not have "official" accessible rooms, but all I need are a lift, no steps at the entrance, and a plastic chair in the shower. I booked online, and requested I either have a room with a shower over the...

We stayed here for two nights and were very impressed. Of course, it could have been improved (perhaps with side tables and a clock radio) but overall it was very good indeed. And the staff were very helpful with a late checkout and looking after our luggage. We'll be back.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for a week for Vivid 2014 as we had a busy week of activities in and around Vivid planned. The apartments are in a fantastic location if you want to be based around the Circular Quay end of Sydney. To our delight, Custome House was at the end of Loftus St - two...

Stayed in a superior studio room for a one-night stop over in Sydney. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room and facilities were, considering the low price - even had a view of the Harbour Bridge. Would definitely stay here again.

After reading the reviews, I was a little unsure about booking. However with everything else booked out had no other options, I booked and hoped I didn't get the room above the shop. Yep guessed it, got the room above the shop. The room was great, with a good view of the street, its easy to kick back and watch...

Would rate this place as average to good depending on the room that you manage to draw. Great location, close to Circular Quay and a short walk to The Rocks, Opera House, museum, gardens etc. The apartments are individually owned, with a number occupied by owners / tenants which no doubt accounts for the varied experiences by those staying here...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
