We had an amazing stay! The entrance was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. The rooms had a relaxing vibe, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything needed to cook. The shower had great water pressure, and the bed was unbelievably soft and comfortable. The room was noise-proof and perfectly blacked out when the curtains were closed—it was absolutely perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The added bonus of having a laundry space was so convenient. Although we didn’t have time to try out the pool or spa, we’ll definitely be back for another stay! The location was fantastic—close to shopping centre's, bars, and restaurants.

We recently had a very enjoyable stay at Skye Suites Sydney. My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The room was generously sized, extremely clean and had all the ammenities we required for a comfortable stay. The room was very quiet, we didn't hear other guests or street noise during our stay. There was a lounge, a large TV where we were able to link up our streaming services, a well stocked kitchenette, dining table and chairs, ironing facilities, hair dryer, great wifi, safe etc. The pool was large and the gym was well equipped with great machines and plenty of equipment. The staff were always friendly and very helpful during our stay, recommending cafes open early in the morning and offering to order us taxis if we needed. The hotel is in a great, central location in the middle of the city within short walking distance to Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Hyde Park. There's plenty of shopping, cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel stored our bags safely after we checked out as our flight wasn't until later in the day, also offering freshen up facilities in the powder room by the reception when we collected our bags later in the day.

While the room was stunning and front desk staff were very hospitable and were awesome to prepare some chocolates and a card for my daughter as it was her birthday (they fulfilled my request), I feel the housekeeping staff could use some improvement.
I had to call the reception, almost daily, to ask for 2 dental kits. I figured if I was staying for 5 nights AND called for it the 1st 2 nights, the rest of the nights would be provided automatically as I am sure the housekeeping department has a guest list as well.
Another thing is that the room, while it was tidied up when I indicated "Make Up Room", it was not CLEANED. There was no sweeping and mopping for my entire stay nor was the dining table wiped. I used the cooking utensils to boil milk for my daughter. Doing that would leave a layer/film of milk at the bottom of the pot. I'd hand scrub it clean to use again. Your room attendants would place it in storage without checking if it was clean. That's absolutely disgusting and very unsafe as the milk ca go bad and re-using that pot for more milk might contaminate the fresh milk.
I'd leave certain areas unclean to check on the level of details and cleanliness during my stay, and unfortunately, my suspicions came true.

We loved the location but the construction site across the street was too loud in the (early) mornings. We prefer to sleep with the windows open (as I am hypersensitive when it comes to aircon) which was not possible. Even with the windows closed the huge metal plates which were unloaded on the roof across the street caused an early wake up at 6am. The suite was nice, the bathroom too small. We enjoyed the kitchenette, the coffee machine and the washer and dryer. A small laundry rack would be a nice add on though. The balcony was not usable due to the construction noise, I was very disappointed to learn that the balcony furniture would not allow having breakfast outside even without the ongoing construction. The suite was too dark, if I had known that the rental suites only reach to floor 9 I would have booked another property with light and possibly a view (not of the house next door). Even on a sunny day we needed the lamps on as there is almost no natural light inside the suite. As well maintained as the suite was and although the front desk ladies were very sweet we will not book again, especially since there are less expensive options with nicer views and daylight in the rooms. So sorry to have to say this, I usually love writing very positive reviews.

I can assure you our double glazed windows set back from the road normally provide excellent sound proofing and I am liaising with the City of Sydney for any assistance for noise interruptions before the council approved 730am starts. Anazing staff, facilities and very clean!!! Doesnt look like much from the front but as soon as the doors open wowwww!!! The positive experience began!!! Very professional friendly staff very helpful!! We were very excited to get away for the long weekend from Melbourne and to stay at Skye Suites. We had booked Skye Suites in 2020 however had to cancel due to COVID-19. We had a very early start to the day and when we checked in at Skye Suites we just wanted to relax and enjoy the room before going out for a walk. I was hoping to have a bit of a lie down. I pulled off the doona cover and noticed the sheet on the mattress was creased. It appeared that it had not been changed from the previous guests. I dialled reception and Andrew from Front of House Manager came to the room. As he inspected the sheet, he confirmed that the sheet was not changed by housekeeping from the previous guests. He was horrified and immediately apologised on several occasions. He offered us another room or have the linen changed. At this stage we had unpacked and we were tired so we agreed to have the linen changed. He said he would organise housekeeping to come up right away to change the linen and to change all the towels. Andrew insisted in changing all the towels as he wasn't confident. He asked us if we drink red or white wine. He left our room and subsequently brought us a bottle of red wine to our room. I think the wine was called "The shy pig" which is $10 a bottle. In the interim, there were two housekeeping staff that came up right away and changed our linen. One of the staff i believe was the housekeeping supervisor. Whilst Andrew apologised on several occasions, these incidents should not happen. We paid just under $400 a night at a 4.5 star hotel and it left a disgusting taste. Let's just say we were more than disappointed. We stayed for 3 nights and each time we came back to the hotel after a long day out and about, we were not confident that the towels were clean and or the room cleaned adequately. Even if we wanted to leave, it was the Queens Birthday weekend and VIVID. All the hotels were booked out and Sky Suites were booked out too and we had paid in full. In any other circumstances, if the service is below standard you would ask for a refund or walk away. We did not have a choice. Whilst we were hoping to write a great review, we feel the need to bring this matter to Management's attention and to avoid other guests experiencing similar issue. More than happy to discuss this issue further should someone wish to call.

Rooms were clean and well designed so it wasn't cluttered staff are very friendly and nothing is'nt to much trouble - when there was an issue it was fixed within 5 or so minutes. The spa and pool area is very spacious and can easily turn the bubbles on which give the back and legs a massage. The pool is a lap pool so can easily do laps perfectly fine. The gym is spacious for the amount of equipment in there but it's not cluttered and is well designed
