Detailed Reviews
Ideal one night stay for single traveller. I stayed in a single room with no window on an inside corridor, so it was perfect and quiet for me with no road traffic noise. The room rate was good for central Sydney, but then I did book 5 months ahead for my stay. I can see the room rates are much higher at short notice stays.
The staff are so welcoming and very friendly. My breakfast was included and was a beautiful cold buffet served in the library room. The courtesy evening drink trolley provided in the library for evening drinks is also a lovely touch for a pre-dinner G&T. The rooftop bar was closed during my stay, but the area looked lovely, and I would have used the bar if it had been open.
I did not use the Bistro downstairs, as I had other arrangements for dinner.
I appreciate other reviews regarding the road noise complaints, as I can imagine the front rooms are straight onto the busy road.
This was a perfect stay for myself as a single teaveller and I will return for future stays.

Stayed only 1 night and it was so so lovely. Check-in was so smooth and pleasant, was made a complimentary cocktail and given a voucher for their delicious bistro.
A handwritten note and a service directory document printed with my name on it, agh! A bag of handmade chocolate too!
The lighting, mood and décor are so groovy. There was a small common library area with a drinks cart and moody couches in private rooms. Great music playing all the time. Staff are so lovely, cool and kind.
Can't get over how good a short stay I had. I wish I stayed longer.
The vibes are immaculate, I'm absolutely coming back.

While staying in the large hotel (Sydney Boulevard Hotel) opposite of the street I’ve visited the pub they have on the ground floor 3 times. It is a nice spot to enjoy an evening drink. The service is good and friendly. The people that come over for a drink or some food are both locals from Sydney and tourist that either stay in one of their rooms above or drop in just like me.

This was the perfect hotel to stay in for 1 night while I was in Sydney. The woman at the front desk let me check in early after having a long travel day and she carried my heavy suitcase up all the flights of stairs since there is no lift!!! She did the same thing when I checked out, too. The library area was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The food was good. Good vibes from the rooftop bar as well.

What a find! I am usually one to stay in larger hotels, but on a recent trip to Sydney I decided to try a smaller boutique Hotel for something different - and I am so glad I did!
From the friendly check in experience, to the escort to my room, to the personalised amenity waiting for me in the room, this hotel hit the mark on every opportunity.
It was a lovely warm day in Sydney when I stayed and I had planned to meet a friend for a wine. Jess (the Hotel Manager who checked me in) suggested a wine at the Bistro, so I invited my friend to come for a wine and some oysters and it such an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately we already had a dinner booking elsewhere or we would have stayed to try the bustling French Bistro. All the staff were courtesy, friendly and showed just the right amount of attention without bearing overbearing.
Such an exceptional find and I cannot wait to come back when the rooftop bar is officially open!

This is a lovely, quaint hotel. There are no elevators. It’s a maze-like place, with only about 18 rooms. But it’s fun! Gloria, at reception, was lovely - friendly, and helpful. She kindly asked if we’d had breakfast when we checked in. When we said no, she brought us some breakfast! The breakfast the next was a lovely assortment of cold foods. And it’s eco friendly - each floor had a spot to fill bottles with cold water, and also hot water for tea.

Great hotel, great location and friendly staff. We were lucky enough to arrive when they were starting to provide a light breakfast and the muesli pots and juices were lovely. The late afternoon/early evening drinks were a great idea after a long day and overall, a hotel we will definitely return to.

Fabulous ! A package really. French ambience, pre dinner drinks provided in the lounge and library, the cutest breakfast ,(forget bacon eggs stuff. Our dinner in the Bistro was so nice. Staff service was excellent, attentive but unobtrustive. The young lady at reception was friendly, attentive and very helpful. Really nice person. My room was noisy at peak times but I had no intention of fighting it and went onto a dream sleep . I felt like a Shirley Valentine in Paris. Anyway if the noise is going toeffect you then ask for a back room. Overall I loved my stay with all the little touches, care and warmth of the stay.

Nicely designed boutique hotel in Darlinghurst. Stayed here 2x3 nights after being annoyed with the hotel across the street not answering emails and we didn't regret it. The first three nights we were upgraded and that room was larger and easier to move around in. Good beds. Only downside was the noise from the street at times.
Breakfast a little different, but very good, though a little limited. I'd preferred had they started serving it a little earlier, though. Good coffee is available for free 24/7 and the honour bar is a nice touch. Rooftop bar nicely located, but a little too loud to be relaxing imho.
Very friendly and helpful staff, though the desk is often unmanned.

Hotel ambience and staff were great. Room was well equipped with very comfortable bed. The noise from traffic was pretty unbearable and intrusive. We knew it was on a main road but we certainly didn’t expect it to be so loud. Neither my partner nor I slept well either of the nights.
