The rooms are very small, the bed was hard and the pillows were lumpy. The blind was not a blockout shade so the room was lit up all night. The room was clean and suitable for a night's stay but that would be the limit. I will say that the shower was great and the staff were extremely friendly and...

My room was on the west side of the building. If the window opened, I would have been able to reach out and touch the freeway. The room was small with too large a bed. I could sit on one side of the bed with my feet in the bathroom. On the other side, I could barely squeeze into the...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for your post on Trip Advisor. We do have small windows in our hotel and where perposfully designed this way to maximise energy efficiency of the building. The entire precinct was designed with energy efficiency in mind. As the hotel only offers our Ibis Grab and Go menu for meal periods other than breakfast we have established...

The hotel Ibis Sydney King Street Wharf is an affordable option if you are staying in Sydney for a night but due to the size of the rooms I wouldn't recommend it for much longer. The rooms were clean and tidy (standard Ibis quality) but I did find the room rather on the small side and if it had been...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for your post on Trip Advisor, I certainly agree with you that our property is the perfect location for next short stop in Sydney. Location is so important to many of our business travellers who use the hotel as a base to drop luggage and as a place to sleep at night. With so many great bars...

This hotel is definitely a budget hotel with ready meals for room service & prison cell size rooms. Putting this aside, the rooms are noisy as you can hear other hotel guests as they walk past. The staff are not the most attentative or friendly either. The location is the only good thing about the hotel. Book a serviced apartment...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for your post on Trip Advisor, You are 100% correct is saying that we are well located. Sitting right in the heart of King St Wharf close to all major attractions, cafes, bars and public transport. For most travellers the location certainly makes up for what we lack in size in the room department. My most concerning...

This hotel is clean and confortable and value for money in an overpriced market (Sydney) Small but functional rooms and the road noise was low considering how close you are to the road. Very convenient to most of Sydney CBD

Twin room actually a queen split in two allowing two inches between the beds and at most eight inches between bed and wall. Felt like room was a sectioned off part of the hallway. my grandmother with her walking cane had a lot of trouble navigating just around the room and as a result never left. For $185 for one...

Dear Traveller, Thankyou for your post on trip Advisor. I was sorry it was not a memorable stay. Our twin rooms are kins split into 2 but you certainly are correct in saying they are still close together. I can understand how it may have been difficult for your grandmother and please pass on my apology to her. I was...

Ibis King Street Wharf is a great conveniant location for access to all Darling Harbour attractions. No need to use your car, 5 mins to Sydney Aquarium and 10 mins to monorail...public transport to other attractions is within short walking distance... All staff were excellent. Thanks for the great service... hope to be back for a short family holiday again...

We stayed here for 6 nights in October 2012. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite throughout our stay. The hotel is in a really good location on the edge of the CBD, and close to Darling Harbour and ideal for exploring central Sydney. The train stations are a short walk away, if you are travelling further afield. Our...
