I was pleasently surprised at how nice the room was (although my view of the cahill expressway wasn't great), a nice sharp tv, mini fridge, kettlle. Bathroom was nice and well lit. The phone didn't work but that didn't bother me too much. Parking at $45 is one of the most expensive in the city, so I was not happy...

This hotel is typical Ibis... Smallish rooms, nothing spectacular with little to complain about. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a reasonably good buffet that set me up nicely for the day. The hotel is located reasonably well in close proximity to the CBD, Wynyard train station (i.e. direct, fast transfer to Sydney airport) and King Street Wharf ferry...

Dear Traveller, Thankyou for posting your feedback on Trip Advisor. I certainly was disappointed to read about your experience and have used your feedback with all of our teams to highlight the need for focus on attention to detail in areas of cleaning and in room maintenance. Our rooms are on a weekly painting schedule and are rotated accoring to...

Very lovely and super helpful staff is the first thing I'll say. Fairly small double room for the price we paid for a Tuesday night ($129 + $40 to park in their designated car park overnight) had everything we needed in the room though the view was of an office block..would book again if it were not for the expensive...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for your post on trip Advisor. I also must agree that we have a wonderful team at the hotel. They genuinely try to go out of their way to assist where thay can and above all enjoy doing so. I am sorry you found our parking expensive, in comparison to the King St secure parking which is...

Recently returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel & I have no problems with the hotel. Yes the rooms are very small but I did expect that as this is a budget hotel & you get what you pay for. The facilities in the Hotel & room are perfect just what I expected. The staff are so helpful...

This is my first stay in this part of Sydney and over the four days I stayed at the hotel I tuned into the convenience of the location. Its just a short walk from Wynyard Station (will be even closer when an underground walk connection is completed in 2014) and just a couple of hundred metres from the ferry terminal...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for taking the time to write your great post on Trip Advisor. Our hotel certainly is well located, close to all of the CBD action, King St Wharf entertainment precinct and public transport. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel there are in excess of 60 restaurants to choose from. I also agree our rooms have...

Service is bad. Rooms are too small that you can't hardly move around. And I felt deceived by the promos sent to me by accor via email. I availed of the red hot deals which were promoted as the lowest rate. However upon reaching the hotel I was surprised to see the offer rate to be much lower. When we...

Dear Traveller, Thanks for taking the time to write your post on Trip Advisor. I can certainly understand your frustrations at fluctuating price but Dynamic pricing is the pricing tools used for our properties much like airlines have for many years. Again no different to airlines when one guest pays $1 and the guest next to them pays $400. Our...

Was ok, I had just stayed at a Pullman so it was a little disappointing to go to. Very small, near busy road so it was a little noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful. For the price it was ok but I would probably opt to spend a little more to get a bit better place. Location was good and...

I'll concur with many other contributors in saying this is a decent little hotel in a really good location, just 2 minutes (or less) from Darling Harbour and just 10-15 minutes walk into Circular Quay and the Sydney CBD while still remaining in a relatively 'quiet' location (OK, there's traffic roaring overhead but at street level it's quite low density)....

The ibis was a great place to stay, location wise it could not get any better, friendly night staff manager who we mainly dealt with, he was very helpful when it came to local knowledge and general news. The room we had was as I have seen by other reviews a bit on the small side but since we were...
