We only stayed one night here and as we looked around for accommodation we found this gem, the owners were freindly and helpfull and could not do enough for us. The room was spotless and there was a great number of tea and coffee etc which ment you could have a couple cups of tea etc before going to the shops and the little FRESH MILKS made our day. The room was a good size and and very quiet also the pool was just what we needed to freshen up after the drive. Best advice go here direct dont use booking sites as you will get a better price in person. We will be back. Thank you

From the moment I rang to book a room for one night, at the Coffs Harbour Royal Palms Motor Inn, I felt at ease with my decision. The host was friendly & welcoming, arranging for a late night check-in just in case we didn't arrive before closing. The price was excellent value for the quality presented (I have paid much more for far less standard). The room was exceptionally clean & well styled with no noise from the other rooms or traffic at all. The queen size bed was very comfortable, the towels seemed larger than usual & were thick & absorbent. I found the location very convenient being central within walking distance to the very large Park Beach Shopping Plaza & a short driving distance from most tourist attractions. My criteria for a good motel is a fair & reasonable price, has to be clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely styled & well situated, Royal Palms ticked all of my boxes, I will definitely stay at this motel again.

The owners at this motel are absolutely wonderful, they booked us a room on the ground floor and made sure we had front door parking due to a family member not being able to walk far and being immnunosupressed.
They showed so much compassion and help in also the cleanness of the room is a huge thing with an immnunosupressed patient.
Highly recommend this motel. DEFINITELY 5 STARS.

Contactless check in - received SMS on phone with room number and receipt for payment was printed out and waiting for us in our room on arrival.
Room and bathroom was clean, small fresh milk in fridge, tea,coffee on tray.
Breakfast is available to order in advance for a reasonable fee but we did not need it.
The bed was excellent, very comfortable indeed.
There is a pub within 5 min walk -Hoey Moey - and the bowling club near there as well for dining options. Also Indian restaurant two doors away.
The beach is also a 5 min walk away. Great location.

We were looking for a well priced motel in Coffs Harbour that was prepared to hold some rooms for an upcoming cattle association meeting & the Royal Palms stepped up and some. They were very easy to deal with, super friendly and check in and out was a breeze. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The location is very handy with many great cafes and restaurants an easy walk or drive. Would definitely recommend staying at the Royal Palms Motor Inn

No problems with this motel.Sheryl makes you feel very welcome and has a great sense of humour. Room was excellent, even having lounge chairs to sit in unlike a lot of the motels we have stayed at where you have to sit on hard back dining chair or on the bed to relax.

Extremely friendly staff and wonderful service. The cleanest and friendliest little Motor Inn we have ever stayed in. The managers have thought of everthing and even provided washing machine powder for their washing machines! Pool was excellent and so well maintained, would certainally stay there again.

My wife and I recently stayed over night at The Royal Palms.Because of the Coronaviris check in was different ,as in we did not have to enter the reception area.It was handled so professionally and in a friendly manner.The room was absolutely spotlessly clean. There was a welcome letter inside with a list of specific items outlined for extra cleaning and sanitizing.

Booked this based on "good recommendations" online and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. When I booked online I booked for 3 adults and 4 children, a room that had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, and the booking was accepted. However at check in the attitude of management was appalling. I was spoken to very disrespectfully (which made me not want to stay there, but it was the 23rd of December, we got into Coffs late and my kids were tired). I was told we were 1 person over the limit for that room and I had to pay for an extra room, which was apparently normally $180 but they gave it to us for $95. I tried explaining that we had 4 children with us and that we would fit in the room but was forced to get the extra room as they would not honour the original booking. They also said I never requested to have the sofa bed made up, as that was an extra $50 which was never mentioned online. The way we were spoken to was disgraceful. We ended up having to get the extra room because we were left no choice with it being 7:30pm and the 23rd of December. Finally getting to the room, the bathroom smelt like urine, the cutlery was dirty, the aircon was so old and loud it kept me up most of the night along with the bites I kept on getting from what I'm sure was bed bugs. Overall I highly recommend you stay well away from this place!!!! I am not one to ever complain about things, or write reviews but this place and the management needed to be written about to warn future potential guests!
