Nice chalets discreetly dotted in sandy woodlands, complete with forest animals. Very comfortably appointed apartments, well equipped for a long stay by the beach. Clean beach, nice sea, good but not perfect waves. Friendly helpful staff throughout.

The location is perfect, so close to everything. The resort is well appointed with 2 main pool areas, plenty of seating and room. The kids pool area has multiple pools, BBQs that are cleaned daily a spa and a slide. We used the tennis court next to the kids pool area which was conveniently located as we had a large group and could take turns. Our unit was lovely. It had 2 main bedrooms both with ensuites, air con and decks with seating. There were 2 other bedrooms with 2 singles in each and a main bathroom with spa. We had a group of 8 and the living area was ample and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again next year.

The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was absolutely amazing from the fully equipped kitchen beautiful dining room and lounge room,a really comfortable lounge nice and cosy especially at night. The patio from dining room was so nice and peaceful to just sit and enjoy the surroundings plus the added wildlife that pooped around to say hi. Upstairs the 2 bedrooms were so beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and having ac was perfect. We only stayed 4 days but have to say it was amazing, the grounds were beautifully kept and signs all around made it so easy to find your way around. The pools were just breathtaking I had to stop and just take it all in for a moment, everything at your resort was just amazing. Your staff are so pleasant and helpful(for the time I got a bit lost at first) to the good morning when walking past. I took my daughter here for her 36th birthday getaway and I haven't seen her smile, laugh, relax and enjoy herself so much(she is autistic). Although your resort had alot of people staying, not once did it ever seem to to loud or overwhelming for her. We had the most amazing stay and I was really sad to leave.

Reception staff were extremely rude, unhelpful and inflexible. On checking in, reception makes you sign a contact making guests promise to remove all rubbish, wash all dishes and leave room as you found it or be penalised. My dinner was cold. I was refused a whisky neat. The room was dated. No laundry facilities.

No wifi in the room, no. 4g service, it took 2 hours to move us, if there was a better room why not put us there in the first place. Spa bath didn't work, no towels provided at the pool, you had to pick up your own room service, no daily room cleaning. TV keep losing internet connection in the new room, wifi service patchy all around the resort so why connect the TV to wifi.

We stayed recently for 2 nights and were met by friendly staff. When we checked in, we were told that the restaurant was closed for the 2 nights we were there, this felt very inconvenient. We went to our room. It was a really good size but very dated. The bathroom was huge, probably too big. There was a washing machine and a dryer next to the bathroom, which was a bonus. The carpets looked grubby and dirty around the edges. We unpacked our cases and then went for a walk round the grounds. The grounds are stunning, it feels very tropical, spotlessly clean, and the grassed areas are all kept pristine. We thought we'd have a drink at the bar, it was 5pm and we were told it closed at 5pm on Sundays. It opened again the next day at 11 am till 2.30 pm and that was it, it didn't open in the evening. We complained at reception, and they just said it was due to staffing levels. So in the 2 days we were there, we couldn't eat in the restaurant or have a drink in the bar. Very poor. The hotel is a good 10 minute drive to Coffs Harbour, 1 hour to walk, and it's not an easy direct walk. If you have a hire car, you can park easy enough or use a taxi. Overall, the exterior of the hotel is stunning, but the rest of it, restaurants, and rooms could do with a much needed refurbishment. If you do go, make sure you check with them directly or through your travel agent about the restaurant and bar. I contacted our travel agent, and they said the hotel should have informed them about the issues as it was a live booking. Would I stay here again, no.

We were a family of 4 adults and stayed 2 nights in February. Our 3 bedroom Villa was perfect. We were lucky to have a good location at the end of a path so was quiet. The apartment we had was light, clean and nicely furnished with ceiling fans and air con. Aanuka Beach Resort is set amongst palms and bushland with pretty paved walkways to the beach and the restaurant. Unfortunately our dinner at the restaurant was disappointing. They were undertaffed and the food was ordinary for the price. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Aanuka Beach Resort.

Beautiful location on Diggers Beach. We stayed 4 nights. Very nice grounds to walk around. The units themselves are very dated (at least ours was). However, it was clean. We were 3 couples and we each had our own room and bathroom. We used the kitchen (cooked for ourselves) for breakfast and dinner. There were enough plates/cutlery, appliances etc. to prepare our food. We’ve been to places before where there are 4 of everything only, that’s why I make that comment. You pick up additional towels, rolls of toilet paper, dish soap, coffee fixings, etc. from the lobby. Pool area was nice; some shade covers and very hard lounge chairs available. There were two pool areas that we saw. As well, mini-golf and 3 tennis courts that we never saw anyone using.

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights and booked a 3 bedroom villa for the stay. The booking was made via the Accor App and I was surprised to receive ZERO housekeeping throughout the stay. Our villa was not cleaned and we had to constantly go up to reception to collect towels, toilet paper, ask questions because nobody answered the internal phone lines. On our last night of stay, we wanted to have a nice quiet meal at the restaurant however were greeted by a very frustrated staff member who made us feel as though it was a burden for us to be there. Not only was she rude but also had the indecency to throw a wash cloth on the table as it she was doing us a favour by cleaning our table. We decided not to dine in the restaurant after this episode and as I was having a conversation with the restaurant supervisor, another staff member came up and asked if we wanted to place an order because the kitchen was about to close. Just shows how well the staff is groomed to deal with customers. The next morning when I approached reception to get a copy of my invoice, the reception staff member said, she can't provide a tax invoice because I made a booking via the "App" and will get an invoice on my email later in the day. Bear in mind, this is not a third party application that was used to make the booking but the Accor App which is owned by Accor itself. Very disappointed with the overall stay at this property.
