Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great spot to stay on our way up north. Clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. Handy microwave and toaster in the room too for breakfast. Good value. Recommend and will stay here again. We had a great roast dinner at the CEX club up the road.

Brilliant overnight stay en route to QLD.
So clean, wonderful good quality linen on the beds. These things make an overnight stop on a road trip just perfect. The lady in reception was outstanding with help and milk for the morning. Even a bag of ice for our wine.
The room was spacious but an absolute delight was the huge shower. Lots of space and a good jet of water to completely relax. The room has everything one needs for the overnight traveller and we couldn’t even hear the trucks at night though the motel is on the Pacific Highway.
Highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a family room which had a queen bed and three singles. Our room had some lovely natural light, a full size fridge, and a large shower alcove with good hot water and pressure. Our room was adequately clean upon our arrival but I did rewash the crockery as it was wet when I took it out of the cupboard. Unfortunately our tv did not have some channels (eg. 7mate) even after retuning, and it was difficult to park our large 4wd near our room without parking it right out the front of the next room, although it looked like all of the other rooms had adequate parking. Overall this is a reasonable budget motel

Room was tired and worn out, toilet ran all night, fridge didn't close properly, WiFi didn't work after reception went home.. almost like it gets turned off to save costs when reception goes home.
Couldn't get the air con to work, the remote had no display and after waking up drenched in sweat multiple times the first night I asked reception for assistance with the remote, firstly the receptionist stated "it's been stepped on, which one of you stepped on it" I told her that we have not stepped on it, the remote hasn't worked since we entered the room. She then stated "well someone's poured a drink on it" we did not damage the remote, considering the run down state of the room it would be expected the remote would be faulty, hasn't seen maintenance for a VERY long time. Further, there was no broken plastic on the ground or sign we had stepped on it, nor was there a single drop of spilt drink in the room, I don't know how the receptionist came to these conclusions and decided customer service meant accusing us of things we did not do and humiliating us when all we asked was for the air con to work, a service I paid for when I booked this pathetic over priced hotel.
For the record, 2 young women travelling alone, we barely used the room and did not have a party or any other behaviour that would warrant that kind of attitude from the receptionist.

Of all the motels we stayed in on our recent touring holiday, (15) this was by far the worst. To be instructed to ‘be sure all dishes are clean and washed - with provided dish liquid, cloth and tea towel’ Is a nauseating concept as the only basin is in the bathroom, which is where people wash their hands after they visit the toilet, rinse out their socks and undies, and clean themselves. I would rather know my dishes were being cleaned in a dishwasher, or at least a kitchen sink. The fan in the bathroom (which was beautifully renovated) made a massive ‘clunk’ as it started and a very loud noise running. Couple this with the very, very loud gurgling noise of the water pipes filling (which lasted on one occasion for 34 seconds) and it’s most off-putting. There is no other ventilation in the bathroom other than the very, very loud fan so there’s not much you can do!

But the best was yet to come. We decided not to eat or drink from any receptacles in this room but, when we were leaving in the morning, we - as we always do - checked to make sure we had left nothing in the fridge. There, in all its glory, was what we now have had identified as a McDonald’s sundae (melted into three layers! ) and a bamboo spoon. We photographed it and shut the fridge which, obviously, had not even been cleaned. Disgusting.

Don’t stay here. It looks nice but the cleaning standards are pathetic. The accommodation is not worth what they charge for it. There are many other motels just down the road - keep driving.

Very aggressive review Chrispy, I'm not sure if you have the correct Motel.?? At NO stage do we instruct guest to do dishes in sinks - they are replaced after each guests stay. We also have an onsite laundry for guests to use. Our staff do a fantastic job and are proud of their cleaning and all rooms are checked by Management. The review does not give your name so I cant check if you did stay. If you ever have a problem - please come to Reception and we can assist you. Thank-you

Great value for money warm happy reception.room good size. QS bed plus single. Comfy armchair plus dining chairs. Even a microwave. Shower was large. Good hot water. Maybe the only small negative is washbasin and mirror in the bedroom. However not a big problem. The reviewer who mentioned the kettle had to be filled in the loo cannot have tried too hard. Absolutely no problem filling kettle under the tap😳a Continental breakfast from Receotion was more than adequate. Really cannot find any real negative. Would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone travelling and looking for short term hotel accommodation.

Very happy I chose Comfort Inn Premier for our business stay. We were greeted with a warm smile which immediately gives off a friendly atmosphere. This can say a lot about a property. Francine is either in the garden, at the front desk or doing all the endless things to make this property shine.
The rooms are spotless and the cutlery, glasses are clean as a whistle. The bed is very comfy (one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while). Good spacious shower and clean amenities. The decor surrounding the room is nice a simple/calm making it a relaxing vibe.

They have options for basic snacks, softdrinks, beer, wine etc and at a very reasonable price.

All in all, this is a charmful, cheerful and very comfortable place to stay.

Thank you Francine and other staff for a great stay.

First we tried phoning, to find out exactly where Bellingen Rd was, in relation to the main highway, but no one answered the phone, & it was around 4.30pm, that was on 2 occassons.
Room very small, clean but ordianry, with 1 tiny soap for both basin & shower, we also asked where we could find a place to eat, as it was a Monday night. The guy at the desk pointed us in the direction of a hotel, saying it was a short walk, sorry but it was not & was hard to find, luckily we drove, as didn't want to trust walking back at night along the main highway, as Bellingen Rd is just an off shoot of the main drag.

So my room was very run down, but it was pristine clean, had no chemical cleaning smells that we get in the hotels these days, an aircon that worked, crispy clean white linen sheets.
I was so tired I went to bed at 2030 and woke up at 0630.
If you are noise sensitive, I imagine that this might not be ideal, or let them know. Managed to get a booking last minute and they let me in my room at 1150.

Iv stayed here afew times over 20+ years, but normally get rooms allocated Futher back from the road, the room this time was closest to the highway and the noise was rather noticeable, the walkway lights outside the room are rather bright..which is typically a good thing, but when they are left on untill midnight on Tuesday night....that's pushing the friendship considerably, curtains weren't adequate to block said light. Bed was good, room tidy, a lack of basic cutlery was abit challenging. Fix the light issue and it might be good value
