What can I say very small room, paint peeling on walls, no room for a suit case, water pressure in shower was dreadful. No hand basin in bathroom. Very outdated , and poor. Lady on reception was lovely but if this is an example of Choice motels you have lost me.

Iv stayed here afew times over 20+ years, but normally get rooms allocated Futher back from the road, the room this time was closest to the highway and the noise was rather noticeable, the walkway lights outside the room are rather bright..which is typically a good thing, but when they are left on untill midnight on Tuesday night....that's pushing the friendship considerably, curtains weren't adequate to block said light. Bed was good, room tidy, a lack of basic cutlery was abit challenging. Fix the light issue and it might be good value

Room was tired and worn out, toilet ran all night, fridge didn't close properly, WiFi didn't work after reception went home.. almost like it gets turned off to save costs when reception goes home. Couldn't get the air con to work, the remote had no display and after waking up drenched in sweat multiple times the first night I asked reception for assistance with the remote, firstly the receptionist stated "it's been stepped on, which one of you stepped on it" I told her that we have not stepped on it, the remote hasn't worked since we entered the room. She then stated "well someone's poured a drink on it" we did not damage the remote, considering the run down state of the room it would be expected the remote would be faulty, hasn't seen maintenance for a VERY long time. Further, there was no broken plastic on the ground or sign we had stepped on it, nor was there a single drop of spilt drink in the room, I don't know how the receptionist came to these conclusions and decided customer service meant accusing us of things we did not do and humiliating us when all we asked was for the air con to work, a service I paid for when I booked this pathetic over priced hotel. For the record, 2 young women travelling alone, we barely used the room and did not have a party or any other behaviour that would warrant that kind of attitude from the receptionist.

Specifically asked for a room away from the traffic. The room they gave me couldn’t have been closer to the highway. Toilet ran all night. Bed was terrible won’t be returning. The reception staff were pleasant that’s about the best I can say about this Property.
