Very disappointed booked for 4 nights and left after 1 night. The noise from traffic and trucks kept us awake all night, extremely noisy as it’s on the highway and trucks are going down hill. A cabin at the back would have been better instead of right at the front. Neighbours were right on top of us with loud kids and the place had cockroaches. Took 2 days for my refund to go through which made it difficult to get other accommodation in the area, at short notice with no extra cash.

I am a return visitor to this park. We stayed in a cabin here for 2 nights on on our way up the coast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabin is not super modern and the parking spot a bit tight but there were other areas where you could park. The cabin was a bit dated but clean and had everything you need for a couple of nights. We were in a cabin near the highway and there was a bit of traffic noise but not enough to complain about. The staff seemed to be on the ball as far as COVID19 was concerned, a big relief after our stay in Port Macquarie. If you are after upmarket resort type accommodation this is not for you but if you are wanting reasonable accommodation at a budget price it is a good choice. It is only a short drive to the various attractions in town and suited our needs.

Room Tip: The cabins near the highway are noisier but more accessible.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The Caravan park is situated just past the Big banana, so pretty central to drive back into town. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, except a clothes airer....we had torrential rain whilst up there. The beds were comfy, you are on the highway so expect some noise, but it didn't disturb our sleep.

Very budget but good for the price, very friendly helpful staff,it has a nice little playground and tennis court, pool a good temp, ask to be near these though if u have kids..down side, bed is rock hard and desperately needs a clothes horse in cupboard,a decent dishcloth and a bit of dusting wouldn't go astray either but you get what you pay for.
