We stayed at the Waldorf for 5 nights on level 4, street side in a one bedroom apartment. While very dated, the apartment was spacious and very functional, with a full (but old) kitchen, a newish bathroom, laundry cupboard, lounge-dining area and queen size bedroom,...More
This hotel is extremely central to everything in Canberra. Right in Civic, it's only a short walk to shops, plenty of places to eat and even some attractions. We stayed in a studio which had a kitchenette with a small fridge, oven, cook top and...More

As I remeber there was only a short offer of wifi. But when I sat in the dinning area for breakfast was able to hook into free wifi from several sources (eg yha from across road). Also Canberra CBD is a wifi free hotspot, the cafes have free and the shopping centre. So nearly everywhere, except in your room at the Waldorf, there is free wifi.
