Stayed overnight with 3 grandchildren under 10 years old. Room was comfortable and quiet, location was great, close to Civic, easy to access, close to cafes and across the road from a park for the kids to kick a ball around. Parking is restricted and fills up during busy times requiring us to park in the street behind the hotel....

Decided to go and see Floriade in Canberra at the last minute. Due to school holidays accomodation was difficult to obtain. I managed to get the last room in the hotel. From the moment we went in I was surprised how friendly the staff were and helpful. It was classified as a four star, I wouldn't say that three at...

Excellent value, the room is bigger than others I've stayed in and for less! The room has everything you need for a nightly or weekly stay, bar fridge, full size fridge, microwave and cook top. And kit Kats Staff are very helpful and hotel is fairly close to the main eating district Did I mention the FREE kit-Kat in the...

We stayed for 3 days recently. The hotel more than met our expectations. It's close to Canberra city shopping centre. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The kitchen was well set up also had a good size fridge. Bed was very comfortable.

Dear GM, the room I was provided for my daughter and I contained a queen sized bed and Moran style sofa bed. To say the mattress was thin is an understatement. I could feel the cross bars on the frame and had to share the queen bed. When I asked for a single mattress to put on the bed this...

Dear Michael I, Yes you booked one of our Studio Apartments with a queen bed and a genuine leather Moran single sofa bed in all 32 of them, and I say again the mattresses are the thickest mattresses on any sofa bed you can buy in Australia and they are made in Australia. The mattresses on our sofa beds are...

Booked this hotel on what must be the busiest week of the year in Canberra! Not a lot of choice... Last room let and at the back. Nice and quiet with little to no noise outside. This was a family room with plenty of beds and space. Separate bedroom with TV. Kitchenette sufficient if you need to whip something simple...

I spent one night here on a Saturday night and the hotel was fully booked due to a couple of major events on in Canberra that weekend. I checked in okay but think the hotel staff could learn about why staff need to smile at their customers. Neither staff smiled at anyone in the time I was in reception during...

Stepping through the front door was our first mistake. Booking months prior didnt guarentee the number of beds on arrival. We asked for twins and was assured there was enough BEDS for each person. The room contained a queen bed and a manky old stretcher that had a paper thin matress. Other rooms were short on towels. Lights wouldnt work...

Dear Greatgrubluvver, Your review is a lie. The Studio Apartment you booked has a queen bed and Moran single sofa bed (extremely comfortable - the mattress is nice and thick). Yes after you booked you sent a request for twin beds and we wrote back to via email informing your that the room you booked had a queen bed and...

Stayed here two nights on business. Check in was smooth and efficient. Staff let me leave my car with them all of the last day instead of checking out and having to park elsewhere. Room was large with all the expected facilities. Bed was good. Area is quiet during the week.

Disappointing for a Canberra hotel in the CBD. This place is outdated, room smelt of cigarettes. Was no point watching TV, bad reception even with Foxtel! Limited channels and really bad quality images.. Heater was a joke for a winter's night in Canberra. Would not recommend!!

Dear loveholidays107, My young staff member went up to your room and showed you how to use our reverse cycle air-conditioners. TV reception is great, all you had to do was ask one of my staff members to show you how to put the TV in your room onto FOXTEL (the card in all rooms tells you to press the...
