Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent service and a nice clean room complete with bath tub. I forgot a personal item when checking out but it was recovered by room service and saved for pickup. The reception staff were very friendly. We will certainly recommend and stay at the Pavilion again.

Such a beautiful hotel. Staff were incredible - we stayed 2 nights for a wedding and then an additional 2 more nights after we had issues with our car, the staff were so understanding and helpful. They were so accommodating and assisted us with what would have been a very stressful situation.

Our second time staying at Pavillion and would definitely come back again. Food at the restaurant is excellent and fantastic value for money as is the happy hour. Rooms are a bit dated however the ambience and staff are fantastic. The light rail out the front very very convenient for getting into the CBD and other suburbs in between. Definitely recommend.

Big huge luxurious room. Very good bed, furnishings, etc. I had a balcony room so gives a space to sit outside. The hotel interior is a huge atrium. Very pleasant bars etc. nice small pool. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy on site. I use to to stay at a place closer in that was a little cheaper. But this place is much better for just a little more. (I paid $140 for one Friday night on booking.com)

Room Tip: The light rail stop very close so won’t need car to go out at night to Lonsdale st or Civic.

The room was large and well appointed with a king bed and a single. It's a little way out of the city but the light rail looks to be a good way to get around. Parking is however pretty tight if you arrive late. All up however a most enjoyable place to stay.

We had a great two night stay at The Pavilion on Northbourne. We stayed in a suite on the second floor with a separate bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The suite was clean and roomy. It had a very 70s feel overall surrounded by greenery in all the surrounds. The staff were amazing at every interaction and every single one of them smiled, said hello and were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was refreshing to have such wonderful customer service! Parking was secure although not undercover. The hotel is close to just about everything and there was a shopping centre a short walk away. Overall a great place to stay.
