I have stayed here many times. On my last visit I was given a renovated room which was lovely. It is a great location and the price is right for what's you get. Price included a good hotel breakfast! I didn't have under cover parking which was a negative.

I stayed here for eight days back in January and had a great experience. I was double upgraded from a heritage room to a one-bed apartment (part of a new year's promotion) and I don’t have a bad thing to say about it. The apartment itself was modern, clean and spacious. There was free wifi that was super quick, a...

Stayed 1 night at the Rex Hotel. We were in one of the old rooms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and the new rooms look nice, but we weren't lucky enough to get one. First impression is great, the lobby is very nice and staff were friendly. Elevator however is on par with the ones I've encountered in villages...

Stayed for one night for business, 10 other colleagues also stayed here. I booked the king deluxe room and they booked the executive suite. Exec suite description is that is included a sitting area. Little did I know that my room was not renovated. The room and hall had a weird smell that reminded me of a nursing home. The...

I stayed at the hotel for one night on a short business trip this week. I was lucky to get one of the renovated rooms, which was perfectly fine for my needs. The problem was with the one 'working' lift - which was slow and outdated. If you call the lift from the lobby it stops at each floor on...

We booked a two bedroom apartment at The Rex. We were surprised to find it was in the building next door - it would have been nice if the staff had offered to take our luggage that we had unpacked, but no. We had to repack the car, drive round the block and into the underground car park. The apartment...

The room we were given was on the first floor, down two long dark corridors with frayed carpet and stained walls. The room was small and looked out over the roof. The bathroom was small, the mirror was patched and unbelievably there was no hot water the next morning for showers. There was only one power point in the whole...

Rex is close to the city centre and is priçed fairly. It a large property, recently expanded. Interior of the hotel and lifts need uplift. Buffet breakfast is good but costly. Most rooms on upper floors have a good view of the mountains and the city. Parking is limited.

I've never done a review but I felt strongly about my visit and had to leave one. My experience at the hotel: I walked up to the front desk and told the hotel attendant I was checking in. He blinked at me blankly and said ok. Then there was an awkward silence while he stared at me blankly.... Not great...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights - the room we stayed is was very dated, but clean. Rooms adequate but not large by any means. Shower was over the bath and we needed to keep the bathroom door shut whilst showering so the smoke alarm wasn't set off!! Little street noise because we stayed on the 4th floor....
