The apartments are in an ideal location within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants in both Kingston and Manuka, and is opposite the football stadium.

There were two bedrooms, one bathroom with sink in open area and shower and toilet in separate room. The beds were relatively comfortable, and the rooms were quiet.

The kitchen is fully functional with a large fridge, cooktop, stove, and microwave. The table had a glasstop, and frightenly, the top almost came off when someone leaned on it .

The couch and lounge chair are shockingly old, tired and sagging, and need replacing. The carpet was worn.

The heating was excellent and quiet. The shower was hot and good pressure.

I think overall it is a good value accommodation in a great location and perfect for families. However, until they are repainted and given a refresh and new furniture, they will be in the 3 star category.

This is our preferred place to stay in Canberra as it is in a great location only a 5-min drive from the CBD. The rooms are clean, spacious and have all the usual amenities, with the best biscuits to have with your tea or coffee.
The rates are most reasonable, and the staff are friendly with nothing too much trouble to make your stay comfortable.
Walking distance to a fine Italian restaurant and the Kingston Hotel for a great steak.

After reading all the reviews about this place we booked this place which we felt was a bit deceptive. we felt very disappointed. We stayed here in December the first room that was given to us was very far behind it had this line of ants in the kitchen area i didn't manage to get the pics of all but took the area where it was starting from. There was lots of dust also had this awful mouldy foul smell upon entry. It seems this particular room hadn’t been checked nor cleaned in a while. They looked very presentable no doubt but after we let them know they were kind enough to change our room closer to the pool area. The Receptionist staff and owners of this place are very kind and helpful.

However they were other issues the utensils were not very clean a bit oily sticky , we had to wash rinse them ourselves before we used them. Another issue we had was our washing machine wasn’t working at all the reception was kind enough they took our laundry and got it done for us but I mean first of all they were quite busy so we had to wait for them to come check the machine first than took them at least 2.5hours to come back and take our laundry we wasted half of our day on this issue. what is the point of getting these type of apartments when half the stuff isn’t up to the standards! Their car parking is alright safe and secure.
The place is situated in a very good ideal location close to Manuka shopping area , restaurants, Cafes and the stadium is right across walking distance to all the amenities. Their pool area is clean. I would recommend them to do regular routinely checks on their rooms and check for appliances that don't work . They need to repaint and do a few renovations and upgrade some of their beds as a goodnight comfortable sleep is very essential including their pillows didn't like them at all. If your looking for a good rest get a room away from the pool area as it does get very loud and noisy early mornings and afternoons.
I Would like to let the Elderly/Disabled people know this place has no lifts and sometimes it can be hard for them to comb all those stairs up and down to get their luggage and access to the apartment. I personally didn’t like this place I would rather pay and go stay at Abode Apartments any day as they have much better apartments and quality service you can get!

My family of 3 stayed for 5 nights. We found the accommodation to be in need of update for ambience but also functionality such as dryer dishwasher washing machine and air conditioning in working order but loud, take a long time for a cycle. No servicing of rooms on weekends and then our room was forgotten to be serviced on the Monday, so over 5 days only serviced once and that didn't even include extra tea, coffee or milk. The last night there all the water in the apartments turned brown. Unfortunately depending on if there is anyone in neighbouring apartments you can clearly hear conversations which is not great if you are trying to sleep. Also a lot of random loud noise from the pipes in the building. The room on arrival was not ready in the format of beds requested, so were changed rooms. The king bed was 2 twin beds pushed together (normal practice) but the beds were uneven and in the middle felt like the hard element thing from an electric blanket. Not ideal to lay on.
Other than that, the beds were clean and comfortable. The pool was good and 1 staff member went out of his way to rectify any issues. Saying that, we did not feel welcomed by the young girl on reception and if there were problems we found her response underwhelming. In addition the reception hours are limited and if you get back from a day out and want to swim, the pool towels are located in reception, closed after 4! Also if you have a problem after hours the number was on reception door but not in the room. Another inconvenience (which was fixed the next day) was the remote for Netflix was missing and we weren't given the WiFi login at check-in. Details like this being missed just CHG your experience to a negative one.

Parking was easy and location was close to restaurants and the sights.

Saying that I would look for another place to stay next time, a lot of choice available.

In town to attend the women’s Ashes Test match at Manuka Oval, the apartments are located across the road. We had a one bedroom apartment on ground floor with a small courtyard. Apartment consists of living area with small table/chairs and lounge, small fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Bedroom has one double and a single bed with adjacent bathroom which has a shower only, no bath. Washing machine and dryer also located in bathroom. TV with Netflix, but no Foxtel. All areas were clean and serviced on weekdays. Only annoying downside was no internet in the room and we had to ask reception to log us into the Office wi fi. No reason given for this hiccup. The Kingston pub is a short walk away which does lovely bar meals or there is a restaurant for more formal meals. There is also a drive through bottle shop. The Kingston shopping area is close by (by car) with a good variety of shops and cafes, including Superbarn. We had good coffee and breakfast at the Muse cafe (opposite the pub). Would stay at the apartments again and hopefully the internet issues will be sorted!

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment here last month.
Great location, friendly welcoming staff.
The apartment was very nicely setup, with everything you could require for a comfortable stay.
The washer / dryer came in handy and the local restaurants being within walking distance was great.
Would definitely recommend.

The apartments are in a great position for visiting the main tourist sites. We used both public transport & a hire car. See Joel if you are thinking of using the bus as Canberra’s bus system isn’t as straight forward as we thought it would be. He was very helpful and welcoming. Car parking on site was free and easy to access. The rooms were very clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The beds were excellent. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Canberra.

We booked two nights here and were excited to have a relaxing stay in Canberra over New Year's Eve. Check in was easy and parking was ample. We were quite impressed by our two bedroom apartment, very spacious with modern decor. Although on a very hot day, the walk up three sets of stairs with our luggage was quite a task! The apartments are in a great location, close to both Manuka and Kingston shops and restaurants and not a hard walk to the Kingston Foreshore. Not to mention right across from Manuka oval. Unfortunately, we had to make a quick exit due to the Victorian border being closed and we never got to enjoy our two nights here but we appreciate Joel being understanding about our circumstances. We look forward to returning to here when we can.

My family were relocated due to the bushfires in nsw. Joel from Manuka Park helped us out with a place to stay on our way back to Victoria.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had all the amenities you would need in a stay. Laundry facilities in the bathroom, but plenty of room in there. Pool area was nice, it looks like they’re about to a lot of landscaping in the area. The best part of this accommodation is that it’s across the road from Manuka oval, any footy fan will love the position. We will coming back to stay here. Great food available very close by too.
